Vehicle Story

This 1955 Chevrolet 210 is the product of a nut-and-bolt restoration completed in 2011. Power is provided by a 350ci LT1 V8 from a low-mileage 1994 Camaro Z28 paired with a T-56 6-speed manual gearbox and positraction, 10-bolt rear end with 3.73:1 gearing. The car has been with the seller for five years and has been driven only 800 miles during that time. This 210 is finished in Corvette Cyber Gray and is now offered for sale with build documentation and a clear Alabama registration in the seller's name.

Corvette Cyber Gray paint was applied during the restoration, along with billet hood hinges and LED headlights. The original vent windows have been deleted and replaced with one-piece side window glass.

A set of 17” Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in Nitto 555 tires are fitted, as are power rack-and-pinion steering and power four-wheel disc brakes.

Interior equipment consists of custom leather upholstery, tilt steering wheel, heated seats, air conditioning, and a custom sound system with GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth phone & audio, and a functional backup camera. A center console is mounted between the power-adjustable seats and houses a Hurst shifter, 2 cup holders, and the touch screen head unit for the stereo. A billet trim plate runs across the face of the dash, and a billet pedal assembly was installed as well.

Electric powered windows and locks are equipped as well a fresh set of Autometer gauges including a 120 mph speedometer with digital odometer reading. Current mileage is approximately 2k miles, 800 of which have been added by the seller.

Power is derived from a 43k-mile 350ci LT1 V8, which was sourced from a 1994 Camaro Z28, and it is mated to a T-56 6-speed manual transmission. Modifications to the engine bay include a smoothed firewall, while the engine was upgraded with a performance intake and full-length dual exhaust with headers. The car is equipped with a 10-bolt positraction rear end with a 3.73:1 gear ratio.

The suspension has been upgraded with 2” drop spindles and QA1 coilovers on all four corners. A triangulated 4-link suspension was installed on the rear.

AUTOHUNTER ADMIN UPDATE 4/8/21: The listing has been updated to reflect the vehicle is a 210 model

@PeterTexas – Mr. Owner: Is this a frame off restoration? If yes, can some pictures of the undercarriage be posted? Regardless, would like to see pictures of the trunk, the front suspension, the rear end and suspension, fuel tank, transmission. Has the car been rewired? Does the car have working AC and PS? Thanks so much. ...
