This 1958 Edsel Citation is a restored, matching-numbers car powered by a 410ci V8 paired with a 3-speed push-button automatic transmission. Features include a dual exhaust system and reupholstered bench seating, and recent work involved a carburetor rebuild, a brake service, and the addition of a new battery. This four-door hardtop is finished in two-tone red and white over a tan and black interior and is offered with a clear California title in the seller’s name.
The red body and white hard top are complemented by chrome trim and the iconic vertical grille with the Edsel logo. Other notable features include boomerang-shaped taillamps, a pillarless roofline, and dual exhaust. Serial number placards are present in the factory locations and small nicks are noted in the paint.
Factory 14” steel wheels with full covers and color-matched center caps are mounted to tubeless whitewall tires of unknown age. The brakes have recently been serviced with a new vacuum pump per the seller.
Interior trim consists of refurbished two-tone black and tan vinyl and cloth bench seats, a black dash with a locking glove box, and the factory push-button AM radio. The trunk is lined with gray carpet and houses a full-size spare tire, jack, and tools.
Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke steering wheel and consists of a floating 120-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The 5-digit odometer shows approximately 76k miles, though true mileage is unknown.
Power is provided by a matching-numbers 410ci E-475 V8, which benefits from a recently rebuilt carburetor and new battery. Power is transferred to the rear wheels via a Teletouch 3-speed automatic transmission with gear-selection buttons in the steering wheel.
