On of the photos of the passenger side of the car appears to show something above the front wheel well. Hard to tell from the photo what it is, reflection or a scuff. Can you clarify? @Lsilbart – Do you have extensive service records, especially regarding the transmission re-build and timing chain? Was the plastic timing chain tensioners upgraded (preferably third-generation). When was the water pump replaced? Did the car overheat? Was the cylinder compression tested recently? Does the convertible top open and close properly with no hydraulic cylinder leakage? Any separation issues with the top? ...
I do not have extensive service records for anything except what I have done in the past year or so. The remainder of the work records I got from the CarFax. Plastic Timing Chain replaced in 2021 Water Pump replaced in 2004 Cylinder compression has not been tested since I have owned it Not hydraulic leaks in the top and it operates No separation.
