1986 Dodge Ramcharger 4x4

This 1986 Dodge Ramcharger is finished in gloss black over a custom black leather interior and powered by its original 360ci V8 with electronic fuel injection and automatic transmission and four-wheel-drive. A 6" suspension lift has been added along with Method wheels wrapped in offroad tires. The interior features custom upholstery with a roll bar and aftermarket stereo system. Acquired 3 years ago by the seller, all restoration work has been completed in the past 6 months, this Ramcharger is located in Palm Springs, CA, and offered with a clean CARFAX on a California title in the seller's name.

The body has been recently refinished in gloss black and aftermarket steel bumpers were added, finished to match. The truck retains its factory sealed beam headlights in the grill, but the front bumper is equipped with a mini LED bar and two LED cube lights for better illumination during off-road use. Design features include wrap-around side glass and a one-piece rear hatch as well as polished side view mirrors, grille shell, side window trim and taillight trim. LED cub lights have been installed in the rear bumper and hitch receiver is mounted below the license plate opening.

The truck rides on new aluminum Method Con 6 wheels finished in bronze with a black simulated beadlock rings. Four Cooper Comforser tires measuring 35"x12.5" were installed less than 6 months ago and a 6" suspension lift was professionally installed by 4 Wheel Parts. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted disc with a dual reservoir master cylinder.

The interior features leather bucket seats with contrasting diamond stitch inserts and piping. Custom door panel inserts were fitted to match in addition to a rear seat. The headliner is upholstered with black Alcantara and a roll bar has been installed behind the front seats. The cargo area houses a speaker box with two Kicker subwoofers, an Avionixx amplifier & capacitor for the stereo as well as a spare tire.

The factory steering wheel has been replaced with a 3-spoke leather-wrapped Grant unit. The factory gagues remain in place with an 85mph speedometer in the center pod, fuel and oil pressure to the right with voltage and water temperature on the left. The factory head unit has been upgraded with a modern unit featuring motorized, pop-out screen.

The original 360ci V8 engine was rebuilt during the restoration and an electronic fuel injection system was added. Additional engine upgrades include an aluminum intake manifold, stronger ignition coil and long tube headers.A recently rebuilt 727 Torqueflite automatic transmission puts the power to the NP208 transfer case and Dana 44 axles.
