This 1964 Ford Falcon Sprint 2-door hardtop has been with the seller for 14 years and features a number of recent refreshments completed over the past few years including fresh paint, and engine swap and some interior work. Power comes from a rebuilt 302ci Ford V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and equipment includes power steering, power brakes, a heater and an AM/FM radio. Located in Stockton, California, this second-generation Falcon is offered for sale with a clear California title in the seller's name.
Finished in black, the car was resprayed a few years ago and still retains its shine along with the new chrome bumpers and trim pieces. Fresh weatherstripping has been applied to almost all sealing areas and the seller notes the presence of some minor surface rust and a few small bubbles in the paint.
Power steering and power brakes are equipped behind factory 13-inch wire-style wheels wrapped in a new set of 185/70 Champion tires and the original "Sprint V8" badging is displayed on the front quarters.
The interior has been refreshed with factory form in mind featuring new vinyl upholstery over bench seating and door panels to match black carpeting throughout. All interior equipment is described to be in great working condition with the exception of the reverse gear which requires the clutch to be completely depressed in order to use it.
A brown 3-spoke steering wheel frames factory instrumentation including a 110-mph speedometer. Odometer accuracy and mileage are unknown at this time.
Power comes from a non-original drivetrain featuring a 302ci Ford V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission which were both rebuilt prior to the swap. The chrome air cleaner sports a "260 cubic inch" sticker to save the factory stock look and the oil was last changed in May of 2021.

Hi sgtboytor I do have the original engine that it came with, it is a 260 The engine is apart it was running I was going to rebuild it but changed my mind There is a few parts that where use in the engine it has now to dress it as a 260 that belong to original engine, If you are interested in it the engine it can go with the car Thank you.

Hi ovaljoe these is common problems on the falcons from 1960 to 1965 they spill fuel at the time of fueling fuel tank there is a curve on the fuel tank that don’t work with new fuel pumps.

@FeFranco – The description states that the transmission has been rebuilt, but seems to hang up when going into reverse. Any idea what the issue is? Will this be addressed before end of sell? It also says that it had a paint job, but there’s bubbles in the paint and surface rust. Where is it located? Who painted it? Thanks ...
Hi FeFranco I have the mechanic scheduled for Monday to check the transmission as long as I get time to fix it it will be taking care of. It was painted about 6 years ago it got a re coated a couple years ago You can see the details of the paint in some of the last pictures.

@rileyhollett – How many miles were on the swapped engine when you installed it? I am assuming it was not rebuilt prior to installation? ...
Hi Rileyhollett Actually the engine was rebuild it has 150 miles It hasn’t been in the road only to the shops (mechanic, buffing, alignments, upholstery, glass etc.) And testing The engine has new resize pistons, new oil pump, new main and rod bearings, new times chain kit, and new gaskets The heads got a valve job with new valve seats It was done by a local shop that did the work to the block “B&R automobile and machine” Let me know if you have any more questions Thank you for the enquirer.
