This 1985 Chevrolet Silverado C30 1-ton crew-cab 2WD is largely original example that was first delivered to Midway Chevrolet in Phoenix, Arizona in November 1984 and has remained in the region ever since. Power comes from a replacement 454ci V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, and recent servicing of the fuel system, air conditioning system, and cooling system has been performed. Features include new tires, a CB radio, a trailer brake system, and power windows. Finished in its original two-tone Indian Bronze and Doeskin Tan over its original saddle cloth interior, this third-generation C/K-Series C30 pickup is now offered with a clean CARFAX report, a build sheet, an owner’s manual, the original radio, and a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The Chevrolet full-size Rounded Line pickups spanned nearly two decades beginning with the 1973 model year. A facelift came about in 1983 that incorporated recessed turn signals behind the grille and other cosmetic updates. This C30 dually from 1985 was assembled in a four-door, longbed, dually body style and has reportedly been garage-kept for more than two decades. The paint scheme is the original two-tone with an Indian Bronze (66) upper body and Doeskin Tan (61) sides, and brightwork includes the bumpers with guards, sideview mirrors, badging, and more. Additional features include cab lights, rear mud flaps, an auxiliary fuel tank, and a tow receiver. The interior of the bed shows minor scratching and wear consistent with age and light use.
Chrome-finished 16” wheels are mounted to six new Firestone Transforce tires. Stopping power comes from power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and handling is assisted by power steering. According to the build sheet, this pickup came outfitted with Camper Special chassis equipment.
The interior is configured in Silverado trim and offers two rows of original saddle cloth bench seating, color-matched to the door panels and carpeting, with a darker brown padded dash and a black two-spoke steering wheel. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows, tinted glass, a CB radio, a trailer brake controller, and an aftermarket stereo. The factory radio is included with the sale.
Instrumentation is framed by a ComforTilt steering wheel and includes an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. An aftermarket Sunpro 8k-rpm tachometer was added to the steering column. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads approximately 15k miles, though true mileage is unknown.
The original engine was replaced with a stock 454ci V8 in 1999, and it sends power to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 3-speed automatic with added Gear Vendor overdrive. Recent work has included replacement of the air conditioning compressor, transmission cooler lines, fuel tank selector switch and valve, hoses, thermostat and coolant, transmission fluid, and engine oil. The rear axle has a 4.56 ratio.

The CARFAX report shows an accident reported in November 1991 with no additional details on record. The sale includes the factory radio, an owner’s manual, and a build sheet showing an original MSRP of $17,396.00.
