This 1981 Datsun 280 ZX deluxe hatchback is powered by a 2.8L 6-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission. Believed to have resided in Ohio since new, this 280zx is equipped with air conditioning and power windows. Located in Ohio and acquired by the seller 1 year ago, this 280ZX is now offered for sale with a clean CARFAX report and a clear Ohio title in the sellers name.
The car is finished in Black with dual pinstripes gold on the sides of the car. The hood features a raised center section flanked by vents and a scoop on the driver's side. This Datsun features a T-top roof and dual polished exhaust. The CARFAX report shows no reports of accidents or damage.
Gold package 14" aluminum wheels are mounted to Tiger Paw tires. The braking system is equipped with 4 wheel disc brakes. The rear brake rotors and pads were replaced in 2019.
The interior is fitted with tan vinyl bucket seats with matching door panels and carpeting. A console is mounted between the seats, finished in a brown and houses the shifter for the manual transmission. The seller notes that there are some cracks on the top of the dash. The car is equipped with air conditioning, power windows, radio and tape deck. It is noted that the radio is currently not operational.
The original gauges include fuel, speed, mileage, RPMs, oil pressure, and battery charge. A digital clock is styled similarly to the gauges and is in line with the gauges that are placed across the dash. The six-digit odometer reads 125,962 miles however a mileage discrepancy is noted from CARFAX.
The fuel-injected 2.8L I6 with a manual transmission was factory rater at 145ph. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmissions. A catback exhaust and a new battery have been installed on the car. The CARFAX report shows recent work in 2020 consisted of the A/c system being recharged. The seller notes that the car has a small oil leak.
The sale includes the cars owners manual.

Never towed anything from what I can sell. It was a novel idea by the retired gentleman who owned it.
