1987 Chevrolet K5 Blazer

This 1987 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4x4 rides on a custom suspension lift and matte black wheels wrapped in mud-terrain tires, powered by a 5.7-liter V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. This Blazer originated in North Carolina and was relocated to Michigan in 2015, showing an accident-free history and featuring Silverado interior amenities and a modern Pioneer stereo. Finished in Dark Gray Metallic over a blue cloth interior, this Blazer is now offered with a clean CARFAX report with an owner’s manual and a clear Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The Blazer full-size sport utility vehicle was based on the GMT400 platform and shared underpinnings with the C/K-Series General Motors pickups of the same era. This 1987 Blazer is finished in Dark Gray Metallic with a color-matched removable hard shell and sliding side windows. The bumpers and other trim elements are described as being in good condition, and add-on exterior features include window visors on the front roll-ups and a tow receiver below the rear bumper.

Matte-black finished 15” wheels are mounted to Wild Country Radial MTX raised-white-letter tires. The suspension has been lifted.

The interior comes in Silverado trim, fitted with blue cloth high-back bucket seats with matching door panels, dash, and carpeting. A newer Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo is installed, and other amenities include air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, and a center console with storage compartment.

Instrumentation is surrounded by a brushed aluminum bezel and includes an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 66k miles, which per the seller is indicative of 166k actual miles.

The 5.7-liter V8 is said to run well, and power is directed to all four wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
