This 1973 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne 4x4 is a running project that is not currently roadworthy and offered as a largely original, rust-free restoration candidate powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a Turbo Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a removable hardtop, custom polished aluminum wheels on oversized tires, and a heavy-duty transfer case. The Blazer has resided long-term in Arizona and is finished in Crimson Red over a charcoal cloth interior, this second-generation Blazer is now offered with a clear Arizona title.
First launching in 1969, the full-sized K5 Blazer sport utility vehicle was based on the General Motors C/K-Series pickup chassis and moved to its second generation beginning in model year 1973. This example is painted Crimson Red over a two-door configuration with a removable hardtop, retaining a rust-free original body with brightwork for the bumpers, moldings, sideview mirrors, and eggcrate grille. This Blazer has been stored long-term and is described as being ready for cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment. The tailgate features a full-width aluminum trim panel. The seller has provided detailed photos showing up close areas of the doors and rocker panels that are free of corrosion.
Polished aluminum wheels are mounted to older Dayton Timberline A/T tires with good tread remaining. The suspension has been lifted and came factory-equipped with heavy-duty shock absorbers. Handling is assisted by power steering.
The interior is outfitted in Cheyenne trim equipment, offering the original fold-forward bucket seats that stand in need of new upholstery, followed by a black vinyl bench seat in the rear which is also worn. The metal portions of the door panels and dash are finished in Crimson Red to match the exterior, and woodgrain veneer has been applied. The flooring is coated in black textured lining, and a SPID build sheet is present in the glove compartment, describing factory-issued equipment which included a custom steering wheel, Soft Ray tinted glass, and a push-button AM radio.
Instrumentation includes a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 99k miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 350ci Vortec V8 has a chrome-finished air cleaner. The seller notes this Blazer moves under its own power however it is not roadworthy in it's current state. Power is directed to all four wheels via a Turbo Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission, an NP205 dual-range heavy-duty transfer case, and a positraction rear end.
The seller has provided a walk-around video of the vehicle in its current state.

@AndyB – Hi, Great question.. When I pulled it out of the desert in South Phoenix it had been sitting a long time I did the best I could to clean it up and resurrect it from its previous state into what it is now so I could either finish it myself or present it for sale. It has a good running Vortech 350 engine she runs up and down the block and will load on a trailer fine. The remainder of the restoration work, Interior, electrical, driveline ect still needs to be completed which in my opinion still leaves a remainder of work to be complete hence not road worthy. ...
Thanks for the clarification!
@DawnDen – What do you mean by "it is not roadworthy in it's current state"? Please explain a bit more. ...
