This 1978 Chevrolet Corvette coupe is equipped with the 25th Anniversary Edition package and has been with the seller for the past two years in climate-controlled garage storage with 41,928 miles on the odometer. Power is sent to the rear wheels by the standard L48 350ci V8 paired with an automatic transmission and equipment includes power disc brakes, power steering, power windows, air conditioning, dual exhaust, and a custom, professionally installed stereo system. The car was inspected by a Corvette restoration professional prior to the seller's acquisition and is now offered for sale from Lansdale, Pennsylvania with the original dealer sticker, build sheet, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller's name.
Finished in Silver Anniversary paint, the car's exterior features removable T-top roof panels, pop-up headlights, and revised fastback styling for the model year. Custom dual exhausts exit at the rear and the seller notes that new windshield wiper motors were recently installed and working properly. 25th Anniversary Corvette badging can be found on the nose and fuel filler door.
Upgraded power steering and 4-wheel power disc brakes are equipped as standard to handle a set of 15-inch factory slotted wheels wrapped in all-new BF Goodrich Radial T/A rubber with raised white lettering. Independent suspension is equipped front and rear in continuation from C2 models utilizing a mono leaf in the rear and sway bar and coil springs in the front.
Interior changes for 1978 Corvette include new dash styling, the addition of a glove compartment, updated door panels, and storage space for the removable T-top roof panels underneath the back glass. This example is outfitted in beige vinyl upholstery over matching carpeting and comes equipped with factory air conditioning, power windows, and a professionally installed custom stereo with a Kicker subwoofer mounted in the rear hatch.
Framed by the factory 4-spoke steering wheel, instrumentation was all recently replaced with factory-correct parts including the 140-mph speedometer and 7k-rpm tachometer. Additional gauges are console-mounted with dials for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, battery voltage, and an analog clock. The seller reports 41,928 miles showing on the 5-digit odometer.
Powered by the documented original L48 designated 350ci small-block V8 and automatic transmission, the combination was factory rated for 185hp in 1978. The seller has opted for a set of aftermarket headers in place of the stock exhaust manifolds and had the 4-barrel carburetor re-jetted as part of a recent service.
Additional photos of the underside and the rest of this 1978 Corvette have been made viewable in the gallery.
The seller offers thorough documentation of the car's history as well as a fitted car cover along with the sale.

I just noticed that I did not respond to the question about oil leaks. There are no leaks of any kind with this vehicle, particularly oil. Also, the suspension was completely revived with new shocks, struts and bushings. All wheel bearings were also serviced . I also noticed that the description suggests that all gauges were replaced. This is not entirely correct. Only the center consul gauges were replaced with new lighting as well because the clock was not functioning. The speedometer and main dashboard gauges are original to the vehicle. Feel free to ask any other questions.
