This 1977 Ford F-150 with the Ranger trim package comes from the sixth generation of the F-Series line of trucks otherwise known as the "dentside" era because of the concave body lines that run along the body panels. Repainted in its factory two-tone blue paint job, it features a split grille highlighted with chrome highlights and black accents, SuperCab passenger compartment, and Styleside long bed. The blue cabin is equipped with a fabric front bench seat, an aftermarket radio head unit, column-mounted shifter, and square gauges that include an odometer that shows 89,470 original miles. Power comes from an original 460ci V8 engine connected to a recently refreshed automatic transmission and is sent to the road through a new set of tires. This rust-free F-150 Ranger is located in Los Angeles and available now with a clear title in the seller's name.
Ford introduced the sixth-generation F-Series of trucks with a twin-opening grille and front turn signals and side markers on the same level as the concave body line down each side for the 1973 model year. This 1977 truck was recently repainted in its factory two-tone blue paint scheme and features chrome bumpers, a grille with chrome highlights and black accents, badging on the front cowl, the SuperCab passenger compartment, and Fleetside-style long bed finished with rear side markers, vertical taillights, and a tailgate with the name Ford spelled out in large capital letters. It rides on a set of new tires that surround silver wheels.
According to the current owner, this truck has only ever been in California or Arizona and has zero rust issues.
Like the exterior, the cabin is finished in blue. The exposed metal on the lower dashboard and door panels matches the light blue of the body work. The carpeting is a darker blue. Seating comes in the form of a medium blue fabric front bench seat. The 3-spoke steering wheel and main part of the dashboard are black.
Instrumentation readouts are provided by a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and more. Other equipment includes manual windows and an aftermarket radio head unit. The odometer shows 89,470 miles however true milage is unknown.
The hood covers an original 460ci V8, the largest of the 385 series "Lima" engines produced in Ford's Lima, Ohio plant. It is reported to be mechanically sound and draws power from a new battery. The recently refreshed automatic transmission features a column-mounted shifter. According to the seller, the gear selector sometimes does not show that the transmission has been shifted from neutral to reverse.
This truck was recently smog tested and registered in California. The seller reports that the oil was changed less than 100 miles ago.
What area of LA is the seller located? This question is regarding logistics for arranging vehicle pickup only.
Does this truck only have a single tank? What's the range on a tank?
