This 2007 Audi A6 S-Line Quattro all-wheel-drive sport sedan is a one-owner example showing 37,549 miles and powered by a 4.2-liter V8 mated to a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. This A6 was sold new from Audi Stevens Creek in Santa Clara, California in May of its model year and has subsequently resided long-term in California. Finished in Dark Gray Metallic over a gray leather interior, this third-generation C6-chassis A6 is now offered with a CARFAX report, an inspection report, an owner’s manual, and a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The A6 model is slotted between the smaller A4 and the larger A8, and was launched in 1994 as a replacement for the four-door 100 executive car. By 2004, the A6 was in its third generation and rode on the Volkswagen Group C6 platform. When compared to prior models, the third-generation A6 was longer and sported a revised “single-frame” grille. This A6 is painted Dark Gray Metallic and shows good gloss, fitment, and cosmetic condition throughout. Although the CARFAX report mentions a 2011 accident, the seller has provided a copy of an inspection report from a European specialty facility dated August 2021 which describes the car as being free of any structural damage. The exterior features fog lamps, S-Line badging, and dual polished exhaust outlets.
Five-spoke 18” aluminum wheels are wrapped to tires with good tread showing, and power delivery comes from a Torsen-based Quattro permanent four-wheel-drive system. Braking is power-assisted and operated by four-wheel discs connected with anti-lock braking and traction-control systems.
The interior is dressed in gray power-operated leather bucket seats and matching materials for the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Gloss woodgrain trim accents are present on the dash, door panels, and center console, and other amenities include a power-operated moonroof, push-button engine start, automatic climate control, cruise control, and power convenience options such as window and door locks. The factory AM/FM audio system comes with a glove box-mounted CD changer.
Instrumentation includes a 170-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and supplementary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 37,549 miles, which the seller states is a true reading.
The 4.2-liter V8 carried factory ratings of 345 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque when new. This A6 has a history of dealership maintenance on the CARFAX report including replacement of the headlight bulbs and a flush of the brake fluid in 2018. Power is directed to all four wheels via a Tiptronic 6-speed automatic transmission.
Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
The CARFAX report denotes this A6 as a one-owner vehicle and mentions moderate structural damage to the right rear in November 2011. It also documents that the vehicle passed a California emissions inspection in May 2021. A recent inspection report showing no structural damage and an owner’s manual will be included with the sale.

@r1berry20 – Would the car make a drive from Tempe to Long Beach California? ...
Yes it would. I’ve put about 500 miles on the car in the last month and everything performs like it should. I would have no problem driving it to California.
