1999 Jaguar XJR

This 1999 Jaguar XJR is a 4 door sedan powered by a supercharged 4.0-liter V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The car was first sold in New Jersey before living in New York and California. Equipment includes a working sunroof, tinted windows, cruise control, power windows, heated front seats, illuminated vanity mirrors, front and side airbags, and a 12 V DC power outlet in the center console. The consignor has detailed service records from 2021 which indicate the suspension, transmission, cooling, lights bulbs, and wheels have all been serviced. This car has 54K miles and is now offered with a CARFAX report.

The Jaguar has a working sunroof and a driver-side fuel door for the gasoline inlet pipe that is mounted between the rear window and the trunk.  The consignor reports that the bulbs for the tail lights were replaced in 2021.

The car is equipped with the original aluminum alloy wheels, which are wrapped in Continental Extreme Contact tires. The consignor states that all 4 wheels were repaired for scratches and bends.  The consignor reports that the front and rear shocks were replaced, the support shocks on both sides were replaced, and the sway linkages front and rear were replaced. Also, the sway bar linkages and brake pads were replaced, and the brake fluid was flushed and topped off. Along the sides are body-colored trim pieces, and heated side-view mirrors. The hood on this Jaguar XJR is hinged in the front, allowing one side to open away from the windshield. 

The interior is fitted with black carpeting and black seats. The steering wheel, center console, door panels, and dashboard also feature wood accents. Within the center console are the shifter and a 12 V DC power outlet. The Jaguar has a leather interior, heated front seats, front airbags, and side airbags. In addition, both the front and rear seats feature headrests. The visors attached to the roof of the interior include illuminated vanity mirrors on the driver and passenger sides. Moving to the rear of the interior, the back seat also has a fold-down armrest in the middle of the seat. 

Instrumentation includes a tachometer, 170 mph speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, and temperature gauge. The odometer shows 54K miles. Along the center of the interior are a clock at the top and a cassette player beneath it. 

The 4.0-liter Dual Overhead Cam (DOHC) supercharged V8 is the original engine. It was factory rated at 370 horsepower and 387 lb-ft of torque. The consignor states that it received many forms of service in 2021, including a new fuel filter, water pump, and water pump pulley as well as a transmission filter and fluid change, and a change of the coolant.
