Vehicle Story

This one-owner and garage kept 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS is equipped with the 45th Anniversary Edition package to celebrate the Camaro's birthday. The car is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes power windows, air conditioning, heated side-view mirrors, CD player, driver information center screen, steering wheel audio controls, and front and side airbags. The 45th Anniversary Edition also supplies this Camaro SS with Carbon Flash metallic black paint, a dashboard with white trim, and seats with red and blue stitching. This Camaro SS has 45K miles and features a clean title in the seller's name.

Painted in its original Carbon Flash metallic black, the Camaro also features emblems and stripes. The car features the rally-style stripes of the 45th Anniversary Edition package in red and silver bands on the trunk lid and hood. The SS package is also indicated by the SS emblems on the grille and rear. The seller states the car has always been garaged and only driven in the summer.

The 2012 Camaros differed from the 2011 Camaros. The 2012 examples like this one arrived from the factory with changes to the font on the analog gauges, door switches added to the doors, and a smaller steering wheel. This car is also equipped with the 45th Anniversary Edition package, which provided 20" aluminum wheels slightly different from Camaro's without the package. Behind those wheels are 4-wheel disc brakes.

The 45th Anniversary Edition theme continues throughout the interior where the seats and leather on the gear shift knob feature red and white stitching, and the steering wheel displays a small badge. The package also supplied the car with white trim pieces on the dashboard and door panels. The car is also fitted with power windows, air conditioning, heated side-view mirrors, a CD player, driver information center screen, steering wheel audio controls, and front and side airbags.

Directly behind the steering wheel are 2 gauge clusters offering drivers a speedometer, temperature gauge, tachometer, and fuel gauge. The odometer shows 46K miles on this one-owner car. Another gauge cluster in front of the shifter provides gauges for oil pressure, battery voltage, and oil temperature.

The 6.2-liter V8 displaces 376ci and was factory rated at 426 horsepower and 420 il-ft of torque. Directing engine power to the rear-wheel-drive setup is a 6-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller reports the recent maintenance as a 100 point inspection, fluid flush, and oil change.
