This one owner 2006 Saleen Mustang S281 equipped with cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, driver and passenger-side airbags, and CD player all standard with the Mustang, the Saleen S281 package adds performance and appearance upgrades. These upgrades include an intercooled supercharger, Saleen underdrive pulleys, higher-rated gas struts, linear-rate coil springs, tubular sway bars, Saleen interior and exterior trim, and a center-exit dual exhaust system. The only exterior panels not modified by Saleen are the roof, doors and fenders. Since leaving the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan, the car has been in New Mexico only having been driven 730 miles and is offered with a CARFAX report and a New Mexico title.
The Saleen S281 package provides the car with center-exit dual exhaust, a rear spoiler, Saleen lettering on the rear bumper, a Saleen badge in the grille, an aluminum hood with two sets of black vents, and S281 supercharged badges on the front fenders. Finished in Windveil Blue, the Mustang includes a 280 decal on the top and driver side of the front bumper, indicating it is serial number 280 for the 2006 model year.
The Saleen S281 package also supplies this car with 20” chrome wheels wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tires and 14” front brakes. The disc brakes with Saleen branded calipers are visible between the wheel spokes.
The interior is outfitted in gray leather with many Saleen upgrades. The front bucket seats, rear seat headrests, and door sills all feature Saleen badging while the gray floormats up front have 281 logos embroidered on them. The center console houses the automatic shifter, and above it are a radio and CD player.
Behind the 3-spoke steering wheel sporting a Saleen badge at center are a tachometer and 200-mph speedometer with black backgrounds and Saleen lettering on them. There are also two gauges for the supercharger center-mounted atop the dashboard, one displaying air temp and one for boost pressure. The odometer shows 730 miles.
The 4.6-liter SOHC V8 has seen the largest benefit from Saleen’s S281 package, which has supplied it with an intercooled supercharger and Saleen underdrive pulleys. The resulting 435 horsepower is routed to the rear wheels through an automatic transmission, MaxGrip differential, and 3.31 gears.

There is a manufacturer safety recall dated May 2015 and January 2019 for the driver and passenger airbag.

The dent is not visable on any of the other pics and I also noticed 2 different battery’s.. is it possible that some of the pics are not current/to date pics? According to the Carfax mustang has not been to a shop since 2009 is it correct to assume no fluids have been changed in 12 years thanks! ...
Hi! I think I spotted quarter panel dent in picture 16... the paint is broken in the are of the dent right? No, as a was mentioned earlier, the dent is on the top of the quarter panel on the front driver's side. The paint on the car is pristine. That's right, the dent is not visable on any of the Pics. I also noticed 2 different battery’s.. is it possible that some of the pics are not current/to date pics? I actually have three batteries that are for this car, original FoMo, Duralast and Optima. According to the Carfax mustang has not been to a shop since 2009 is it correct to assume no fluids have been changed in 12 years thanks! The car has been run and stored in my garage only. The fluids in all my cars get changed at least once a year by me. This car has not seen a road for awhile since I took these pics.
