This 2006 Jeep Wrangler "LJ" Unlimited has been with the seller for approximately four years and comes with a total of 68,535 miles on the chassis. Power is provided to all four wheels by a remanufactured and supercharged 4.0-liter inline-6 mated to an automatic transmission and modifications have been made to the wheels and exhaust system. Equipment includes power steering, power brakes and rustproofing on the underside. Located in Danbury, Connecticut, the Jeep is now offered at auction with a clean Connecticut title in the seller's name.
Finished in its original coat of Solar Yellow (cc: YH/PYH/2719), the long-wheelbase exterior features black fender flares and trim pieces, a removable black fabric convertible top, fully removable doors, side steps, front fog lights and the venerable 7-slot grille. Both bumpers have been color-matched to the body in Solar Yellow and the areas with common wear and tear appear to be well-kept as the Jeep has reportedly always been garage-kept.
Power front disc and rear drum brakes are equipped behind a set of reversed-style solid wheels in body-matching Solar Yellow with chrome "babymoon" hubcaps fitted. The body on frame chassis consists of coil-sprung solid axles on the front and rear at stock ride height and the underside has been professionally finished with rust prevention coating. The original mag wheels wrapped in a set of fresh tires will be included in the sale.
The interior is outfitted in front bucket seating with a foldable rear bench for added cargo space in the already lengthened LG body. Standard equipment includes a center console-mounted automatic shifter, heater/defroster, and stereo system with roll bar-mounted speakers.
Factory instrumentation consists of a 100-mph speedometer and a 6k-rpm tachometer along with gauges for battery voltage, fuel level, oil pressure and coolant temperature. The digital 6-digit odometer display is said to show 68,535 miles driven on the chassis.
The engine bay is home to a recently installed and remanufactured 4.0-liter inline-6 mated to an automatic transmission and topped off by a Boosted Technologies supercharger. The new engine was installed approximately 1,000 miles ago and comes complete with a painted orange valve cover and a Quadratec stainless steel cat-back exhaust system which the seller notes to perform quietly under partial throttle.
Additional photos of the Jeep have been made available for viewing in the photo carousel.
