This 1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is powered by a numbers-matching LT-1 350ci Turbo-Fire V8 that mates to a recently refurbished 4-speed manual transmission to direct power to the rear end. Offering color-matched removable T-tops, styled hubcaps, and dual exhaust exits at the rear, finishes are described as good with no scratches or fading paint. Equipment includes power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, AM/FM radio, power brakes, and power windows. Finished in Ontario Orange over a Dark Saddle vinyl interior, this C3 Corvette is offered with full documentation of mechanical repairs and a clear Indiana title in the seller’s name.
The third-generation Corvette debuted in 1968 and revisions made in 1970 show here on this 1972 model. Changes to the design included integrated fender flares to reduce stone chips, egg crate grilles, and larger squared directional lamps up front and a change to rectangular exhaust openings at the rear. This example retains its customary pop-up headlamps, color-matched T-tops, quad taillamps at the rear, and a dual exhaust system with polished tips. The front and rear bumpers are chrome-finished, along with other exterior trim.
Steel 15” wheels with styled hubcaps are mounted to BF Goodrich Radial GT raised-white-letter tires all the way around. Steering is power-assisted, and braking is handled by powered four-wheel discs.
The interior offers bucket seats fitted with Dark Saddle Tan vinyl upholstery and matching materials for the lap belts, door panels, center console, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a factory push-button radio, an air conditioning system, power windows, and a tilt and telescopic steering column.
Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke steering wheel and includes a 160-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer, along with console-mounted gauges for fuel pressure, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage, in addition to an analog clock. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 115,950 miles. True mileage of the chassis is unknown.
Under the hood sits the 350ci V8 engine backed by a recently rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission.
Photos showing the underside are available in the gallery.

@EricYocius – Could we get a video of the car running with the hood open so we listen from the engine and the exhaust. Would also like to see the lights and wipers working and the gages and radio. ...
Hello Eric Yocius, a video has been added with the vehicle running.
It will not allow me to upload a video. All gauges work, clock works, AC blows cold, wipers work, lights work, engine has been rebuilt and not sure on hp or gear ratio. Vacuum components work as they should. Car is in amazing shape.

Do the vacuum components work as they should? Dash lights, interior lights and all gauges operational? Does the clock work? Does ac blow cold and has it been upgraded? Were you able to produce an under hood video of the car starting and running? What is the gear ratio and horsepower? Can you provide engine stamping photos?
