This 1975 GMC Sierra Silverado crew-cab is a rust-free, all-original 2WD pickup that has covered just 25,652 miles since new and is powered by a numbers-matching big-block 454ci V8 paired with a 3-speed TH400 automatic transmission. This Sierra was part of a long-term private collection in the California desert and subsequently in Arizona, reportedly having been used to tow horse trailers by the original owner. This Sierra is outfitted in heavy-duty equipment, offering an auxiliary fuel tank, tow mirrors, and a step bumper. Finished in two-tone Gold and White over a saddle cloth interior, this third-generation C/K-Series pickup is now offered with an owner’s manual and a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.
Starting in 1973, the C/K-Series of General Motors pickups adopted the Rounded Line moniker, and in 1975, all GMC pickups received a light front-end refresh with a six-segment grille. This Sierra from that year is painted two-tone Gold (53) and White (12) and described as being highly original and rust-free, consistent with its low odometer reading and having spent time in the western region since new. The body is a four-door, fleetside, longbed layout, and the sliding rear window looks out to a lightly-used cargo area. The Service Parts Identification sticker in the glove compartment denotes that this Sierra received Camper Special equipment (Z81) including swing-away mirrors, dual fuel tanks, a rear step bumper with a tow receiver, bedside tie-downs, and Camper Special badging. The exterior shows some cosmetic wear consistent with age of the original paint finish, and the upper portions of the bedsides have been touched up per the seller.
White-finished 15” steel wheels with polished GMC-branded covers are mounted to new Toyo Open Country tires, and Camper Special models received heavier-duty brakes compared to traditional models.
The Silverado-trimmed interior offers its original saddle cloth and vinyl dual bench seats with capacity for six, color-matched to the door panels, crack-free dash, and carpeting. The headliner has been replaced, and other finishes are reported to be original throughout. Amenities include a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, woodgrain trim, map pockets in the doors, Soft Ray tinted glass, air conditioning, and a trailer brake control unit.
Instrumentation is framed by a black two-spoke steering wheel and includes a 100-mph speedometer, an electric clock, and accompanying gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 25,652 miles, which the seller states is a true reading.
The big-block 454ci V8 has been recently-serviced with a rebuilt four-barrel carburetor, an ignition tune-up, and the installation of a replacement exhaust system. This powerplant was factory rated at 230 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a column-shifted TH400 3-speed automatic transmission and a locking 4.10:1 differential.
The sale includes an owner’s manual. The seller has provided two videos for additional information.

Yeah, I have my wife to thank for that one! She doesn't want me to sell the truck its her Cowgirl Cadillac.. She snuck that in as a joke, But no worries were way far from Reserve!
What just happened? It looks like the seller just bid on his vehicle. There must be something I don't understand about this auction. Please explain.
BID: $14,500
I just received an email stating that the seller is out of 'civilization' (somewhere out of the country?) and don't know when he will be able to return, but that the vehicle is in NY, crated up and ready to go. The email I received sounds like a fraudster. Where is the vehicle and how can bidders be sure the vehicle will be made available after the auction. Thanks,
