1985 Ford F250 Turbo Diesel

This 1985 Ford F-250 4WD pickup has been owned by the seller since 1989 and comes with the Centurion CL package, power steering, cruise control, power windows, and more. The 6.9L International turbo diesel V-8 and 8 speed forward sends power to all four wheels via a 4-speed standard manual transmission with gear vendor. Finished in white with red cloth interior, this F-250 is now offered with comprehensive service history and a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.

Launching in 1980, the F-Series pickup moved into its seventh generation and received the first complete redesign since 1964. With a new chassis and body, this F-250 from 1985 is painted white and configured in a crew cab body style. Having resided in Arizona since 1989, the body and finishes are rust-free, and include a chrome grille guard, chrome bumpers, aluminum wheels, coach lights, swing-away tow mirrors, bright-finished grab handles, diamond plate running boards, mud flaps, and a modified tailgate. A sliding-glass rear window looks out into the bed, and an additional tow hitch extends from the rear bumper.

Polished aluminum 15” American Racing wheels are wrapped in BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A raised-white-letter tires.

The custom Centurion CL interior is fitted with red carpeting, color matching door panels, and red cloth captain’s chairs in front and bench seating for the rear passengers. Fully functional power windows, doors, and locks are present for both the driver and passenger, and equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, a cb radio, AM/FM radio, and a customized center console with wood trim accents. Per the seller, the cb radio antennae doesn’t work, and the direction signal lever needs to be held up when turning right.

The simulated wood steering wheel frames the gauge array which includes an 85-mph speedometer, a 4,500-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 161k miles, which the seller states is a true reading.

The 6.9-liter International turbo diesel V8 with an 8 speed forward front received a recent oil change in October 2020 and comes equipped with a spiral notebook for basic work, and all the records of big jobs from mechanics. Power is fed to all four wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission.
