This 1932 Ford 3-Window Coupe is the product of a project that ran from 2004 to 2008 featuring a fiberglass body from BeBops Glassworks and under 4,000 miles driven on the completed build. Power is sent to the rear wheels by a 350ci small-block V8 paired with an automatic transmission and narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end. Equipment includes heat and air conditioning, power windows, power trunk lid opening, mechanical steering and brakes, a custom stereo, and more. Located in Sacramento, California, this custom-built Deuce Coupe is offered with complete build documentation and a clear California title in the seller's name.
The chopped and shaved BeBop's Glassworks body was finished in yellow in 2007 and is complemented by chrome accents including the exposed front suspension, rear bumper, front spreader bar, grille, lighting and side mirrors. The body comes equipped with a power-operated trunk opening, driver and passenger suicide doors and louvered hood panels.
Tires are staggered in size front to rear over a set of four 14-inch Weld Racing wheels. Manual steering is equipped along with Wilwood mechanical front disc and rear drum brakes while suspension consists of a mono-leaf-sprung straight axle front end and a linked solid axle rear.
The bench seat interior is outfitted in a mix of white upholstery and body-matching yellow with stainless hardware accents throughout. Upholstery work was completed professionally in 2006 and interior equipment consists of a custom stereo, heat and air conditioning, a Lokar automatic transmission shifter, seat belts, and power windows.
An aftermarket 3-spoke steering wheel and column are present among a custom gauge cluster fitted with all-new gauges. Odometer mileage is reported at 3,997 which is likely a count of miles driven since the completion of the build.
Power comes from a 350ci small-block crate engine paired with an automatic transmission which were sourced second-hand by the seller in 1999. The engine comes dressed in a chrome intake manifold, air cleaner and valve covers along with an Accel HEI distributor and a 4-barrel carburetor with an electric choke.
A set of coated headers lead the way to a fully coated exhaust system underneath the car among the authentic 1932 Ford frame rails. The undercarriage is also home to a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end, rear coil-overs and all of the aforementioned suspension components.
Additional photos along with thoroughly documented build sheets have been made available for viewing in the image gallery.
