This 2010 Ford Mustang GT ROUSH Stage 3 is vehicle #36 of 103 produced for the model year, upgraded with options totaling over $30,000 including 20-inch cast chrome wheels, billet grilles, and Stage 3 graphics in addition to a suite of ROUSH-added performance and cosmetic content. Power for this sports coupe comes from a 4.6-liter supercharged V8 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, with up-to-date maintenance on the 47K-original-mile drivetrain. Multiple receipts are included for work performed in October 2021 encompassing brakes, suspension, differential, cooling system, and other areas. This Mustang was first sold by Lance Cunningham Ford in Knoxville, Tennessee in January of its model year and later relocated to Texas the following year, where it has resided since. Finished in black over a two-tone black and gray leather and suede interior, this fifth-generation Mustang is now offered with a clean CARFAX report, a window sticker, ROUSH documentation, an owner’s manual, service records, two keys with fobs, a jack and toolkit, and a clear Texas title in the seller’s name.
The fifth-generation Mustang pony car rode on the S197 chassis and launched in 2005 as a two-door coupe or convertible. This performance-tuned 2010 example started out as a traditional GT model in Black but has been accented by matte black Stage 3 graphics in addition to performance and aerodynamic upgrades. The body is dressed in ROUSH-specific treatment from front to rear, including a chin splitter, driving lamps, billet upper and lower grilles, side rocker splitters, quarter-window louvers, rear valance, rear spoiler and a model-specific exhaust system. Emblems around the exterior identify this as a ROUSH Mustang, including fender and decklid badges, unique striping, and a windshield banner.
Chrome-finished 20-inch wheels are bolted on with locking lug nuts
The four-passenger interior is fitted with black, power-operated leather bucket front seats with gray suede inserts with gray contrast stitching, tied in with black door panels, dash, carpeting, and embroidered floor mats. ROUSH branding is present throughout the interior including a Stage 3 badge on the dash and Jack Roush signatures on the seatbacks and dash face. Amenities include aluminum pedals, a short-throw shifter with a billet lever and black and white knob, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, illuminated door sill plates, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Shaker 500 audio system with an in-dash 6-disc changer, cruise control, and ambient lighting.
Instrumentation includes ROUSH-specific white-faced gauges for the 140-mph speedometer and 8K-rpm tachometer, with inset gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The digital odometer reads 47,794 miles, which reflects true mileage per the seller and as corroborated by the CARFAX report.
The 4.6-liter supercharged V8 was rated at 540 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque, characterized by ROUSH signature placard and serialized badges in the engine compartment. Performance upgrades include a TVS Technology ROUSHcharger, intake manifold, intercooler, and radiator. Additional equipment includes a cold air induction system, forged aluminum pistons, forged steel H-beam connecting rods, a forged steel crankshaft, high-flow injectors, a dual 60mm throttle body, aluminum flywheel, upgraded clutch and ROUSH-calibrated engine control module. Service history is shown in 22 unique records on the CARFAX report, including over $1,000 in maintenance carried out in October 2021 on the oil and filter, cooling system, rear differential fluid, transmission fluid, coolant, brake fluid, and upper and lower control arms. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission and handling is refined by an anti-wheel hop kit.
The braking system is upgraded with larger brakes than a traditional Mustang GT, with four-piston front calipers gripping 14-inch rotors, and slotted rotors at the rear. The suspension benefits from ROUSH-specific front struts and rear shocks with stabilizer bars on at both axles. Recent work to underpinnings includes replacement of the brake pads, replacement of the strut assemblies, and a four-wheel alignment in August 2021. Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
The CARFAX report shows history free of accidents or damage. The sale includes an owner’s manual, two keys with fobs, service records, a jack and toolkit, ROUSH documentation, and a window sticker showing a total MSRP of $34,040 including destination and delivery when new. A supplementary itemized list from ROUSH illustrates the upgrades applied to this vehicle in excess of $30,000 when new.
