This 1994 BMW 318i convertible is a one-owner car that was originally purchased through a BMW dealership in California, picked up at BMW's factory in Munich, Germany on July 1, 1994 as part of the automaker's European delivery program, then driven for 7,500 miles in Europe before eventually being shipped to the United States. It comes finished in its original white paint with its original manual black fabric convertible top over a black interior equipped with power windows, air conditioning, and an AM/FM radio with a tape player. Power is provided by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine and sent to the road through a five-speed manual gearbox and the rear wheels. Available now, this E36 drop-top comes with maintenance records from when it was a new car, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title in the seller's name.
The car comes dressed in its original white paint and equipped with its factory-issued black manual convertible top. According to the seller, the top was maintained and repaired by a Seattle shop and has a back window that is described as not perfect. Pictures in the photo carousel to the right show black scrapes on the front and rear bumpers as well as a dent above the 318i badge on the trunk lid.
Other equipment includes amber turn signals in the front and rear, amber side marker lights, and a set of 15-inch wheels surrounded by tires with a seller-estimated 12,000 miles on them.
The cabin is furnished with black carpeting, black front bucket seats, a black pair of rear seats, and color-coordinated door panels, center console, and dashboard. Equipment includes an AM/FM radio with a tape player, air conditioning, and power windows. According to the seller, the clock does not work. The carpeted trunk contains the original, unused spare tire and the original toolkit.
Instrumentation includes a 160-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer with an integrated fuel economy gauge, and readouts for the fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 89K miles.
Behind BMW's signature twin-kidney grille is a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that transmits its output to the road through a five-speed manual gearbox and the rear wheels. The seller reports it received an oil change a couple of months ago.
Sale includes repair records and service records that go back to when the car was new.
