This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS convertible is a turn-key muscle car restored approximately 20 years ago and powered by a replacement 396ci V8 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The seller has owned the vehicle for five years and added equipment including a new brake master cylinder, a rebuilt Edelbrock carburetor, and BFGoodrich tires. Refinished in LeMans Blue with dual white accent stripes over a reupholstered navy blue vinyl interior, this first-generation Camaro is now offered with a clear California title in the seller’s name.
The Camaro first debuted in 1967 on the F-body platform as a two-door hardtop and two-door convertible, offering various appearance and trim packages in its initial model years. For 1969, the Camaro received new sheet metal with the exception of the hood, roof, and trunk lid. This Camaro from that model year was resprayed LeMans Blue as part of a restoration in approximately 2001. The body retains its original sheet metal aside from added RS parts and features hideaway headlights, fog lights, a chin spoiler, a cowl intake hood, SS badging, and an integrated trunk lip spoiler. An aftermarket exhaust system routes to dual Flowmaster 40 Series mufflers with an outlet behind each rear tire.
Magnum 500-style 14-inch wheels are set inside of 245/45-series BFGoodrich Radial T/A raised-white-letter tires with an estimated 80 percent of their tread life remaining. The braking system received recent maintenance that included the replacement of the brake booster and master cylinder.
The replacement interior is fitted with navy blue vinyl bucket seats which coordinate with the door panels, crack-free padded dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, a center console, woodgrain trim, a push-button radio, and a Hurst shift lever.
Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and additional gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage at the top of the center console. The seller notes that the speedometer and the voltage gauge are not working. The inoperative 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 59K miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The replacement 396ci V8 is not original to the car, but is reportedly from 1970. Equipment includes a rebuilt Edelbrock carburetor and a performance camshaft, and the motor is said to run well although there is a small oil leak, according to the seller. Factory smog equipment remains and the battery was replaced in September of 2021. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 4-speed manual transmission.

@Rckshelley – Where does the oil leak seem to come from? ...
Not entirely sure I have yet to check but I will be fixing it before it leaves
Where does the oil leak seem to come from?
@Cloudtech – Does the convertible top close and seal easily? Or is it difficult to close? ...
The top goes up and down very easily however it spends 98% of its time down so it needs a bit of massaging to latch correctly but like the pictures show once latched it sits great
