This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 receives power from a rebuilt 350ci V8 paired with a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and is accompanied by performance equipment including Rallye wheels, full gauges, a Hurst shift lever, and front and rear spoilers. Finished in a Hugger Orange repaint with black striping over a black vinyl interior, this Camaro is now offered with an owner’s manual, dealer packet, and a clear Missouri title in the seller’s name.
The Camaro model shared F-body underpinnings with other General Motors cars and launched in 1967 as a two-door hardtop and convertible. Engineering leveraged semi-unibody construction and RS, SS, and Z/28 options were offered. Refinements were made to the design language in both 1968 and 1969 involving changes to the marker lamps, grille, and badging. This Camaro Z/28 from 1969 wears an older repaint in Hugger Orange accented by dual black stripes on the hood and rear decklid. This Camaro was originally built as an X77-code car without stripes or moldings, and the rust-free body features a cowl hood, fog lamps, a chin spoiler, and a color-matched rear spoiler.
Rallye 15-inch wheels with polished center caps and trim rings are wrapped in BFGoodrich Comp T/A raised-white-letter tires. Handling is assisted by power steering and power brakes, with discs up front and drums in the rear. As a Z/28, this model was configured at the factory with an upgraded suspension.
The interior is trimmed with black vinyl fold-forward bucket seats and a coordinating console, door panels, carpeting, and padded dash. Amenities include woodgrain trim across the dash, console, and steering wheel, as well as a Hurst shifter, a radio, and a passenger-side grab handle.
Instrumentation is provided by a 120-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 45k miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
Equipped with a 350ci V8 the seller notes it was recently rebuilt and features a 302ci sticker on the air cleaner. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt rear axle.
The sale includes an owner’s manual, a dealer packet, and an owner’s protection plan booklet.
