This 1928 Ford T-bucket custom pickup is powered by an Edelbrock-upgraded 5.7-liter V8 paired with an automatic transmission and has resided long-term in California, demonstrating a rust-free body, chrome wheels, and interior upgrades including a center console, radio, and a wood dash overlay. Finished in red over a black velvet interior, this pickup is now offered with a clear California title in the seller’s name.
This T-bucket pickup wears a coat of red paint for the body panels, cab, and radiator shell, contrasted by a black vinyl top. The metal cargo bed is topped by Ford-branded wooden planks, and the drop-down tailgate is accented in black script. Features include chrome headlight surrounds, a tow receiver, and wooden trim for the windshield and rear window. The seller notes that the covers are missing for the engine and the front fenders.
Wheels are 15” in diameter and staggered in fitment, with chrome-finished wheels and Mastercraft tires up front and color-matched red wheels with polished lips and Cooper Cobra Radial G/T 265/50 tires at the rear. This pickup rides on a steel frame with chromed suspension and braking components.
The interior is fitted with black velvet upholstery for the seats, door panels, and dash. Amenities include an aftermarket gray plastic center console with cup holders, aluminum pedals, a wood dash applique, an aftermarket steering wheel, a Jensen AM/FM/cassette radio, and lap belts. The seller adds that there is a switch in the passenger side floorboard that activates the fuel pump.
Instrumentation includes aftermarket gauges for a 120-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Although a five-digit mechanical odometer is equipped, true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 5.7-liter V8 was refurbished around 20 years ago and reportedly develops 300 horsepower using performance upgrades such as Edelbrock valve covers. Power is sent to the rear wheels via console-shifted automatic transmission.
