This 1984 Lada 2106 is a Russian-built compact four-door sedan driven by a 1.6-liter inline-4 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. The seller has owned the vehicle for three years and has kept up on maintenance during that time, with an oil change having been performed within the last year and other mechanical functions working as designed. Finished in green over a brown cloth interior, this 2106 is now offered with service receipts, owner documentation, and a clear Washington title in the seller’s name.
The 2106 launched in 1976 as an evolution of the earlier VAZ-2103, a car that had been developed jointly by VAZ and Fiat for the Russian marketplace. This 2106 four-door sedan has a rust-free, straight body that is painted green and displays good finishes throughout, with select panels including the roof and one fender having been refinished under the seller’s three-year ownership. The body is dressed with chrome accents for the bumpers, grille, side moldings, and a driver sideview mirror. Additional elements include quad halogen headlamps, a rear-mounted fog lamp, and rear mud flaps.
Silver-finished 13” steel wheels with chrome center caps are mounted to tires with good tread remaining.
The interior is fitted with brown cloth bucket seats, matched to the vinyl door panels and contrasted by darker carpeting and a black dashboard. Amenities include a woodgrain dash trim panel, a vinyl trunk mat, and an included spare tire.
Instrumentation includes a 180-km/h speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 45k kilometers, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The forward-hinged hood opens up to a 1.6-liter single overhead-cam inline-4 that is described as being in good working condition, having received an oil change within the last year. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 4-speed manual transmission.
Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
The sale includes service receipts and other documentation.

@trayambus – You probably will make to Chicago, but I can’t guarantee 100% The comfortable speed on this car is 50 or 60 mph. I would recommend to ship it, and it will be less expensive. I am working on the video right now. ...
Thanks
@JeffL – Do you think I can drive it back to Chicago? Any video of it running? ...

If you typhoid “lada parts”, a lot of options will pop up. I personally, used “Lada shop”. They ship parts faster, than Amazon does.
