This 1978 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne is a second-generation model finished in a two-tone combination of Mariner Blue and white with a white removable hardtop over a blue vinyl interior. Features include air conditioning, power steering, cruise control, a rear roll bar, and a reportedly brand new set of tires. Powered by 350ci V8 connected to a 4-barrel carburetor and an automatic transmission, this two-wheel-drive Blazer is located in Arizona and comes with a clear title in the seller's name.
The truck is finished in Mariner Blue with white accents running across the middle of the front and rear fenders and doors as well as a white removable hardtop with sliding side windows. Areas of brightwork include the grille frame, front and rear bumpers, side mirrors, and trim strips that frame the white accents on the body sides and wrap around the fold-down tailgate. Badging is located on the front and rear fenders along with the tailgate trim panel. Fifteen-inch Rally wheels are set inside of reportedly brand new tires with black sidewall lettering.
The seller acknowledges and the pictures in the photo carousel to the right show that the paint has blemishes in certain areas. As the shots of the rear end indicate, the handle for the tailgate release is missing.
Inside, the vehicle is furnished with blue carpeting, floor mats, vinyl bucket seats with white piping, and door panels, which are accented with metallic trim. Woodgrain trim is located on the passenger side of the dashboard. The vehicle's Service Parts Identification label indicates it was originally configured with air conditioning, a Comfortilt steering wheel, cruise control, power steering, and an AM/FM push-button radio. In the back, there is a roll bar, folding bench seat, and spare wheel/tire. A black fascia plate behind the black two-spoke steering wheel surrounds a set of instruments that includes a gear selection window, 100-mph speedometer, fuel gauge, and readouts for other vehicle levels. The seller reports the odometer currently reads 114,000 miles. A trio of aftermarket gauges below the dashboard display the oil pressure, battery voltage, and coolant temperature.
According to the seller, the speedometer does not currently function and needs a new cable. Patina is visible on the door panels and center console.
Power is provided by a naturally aspired 350ci V8 equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor and paired with a column-shifted automatic transmission that sends the engine's output to the rear wheels. According to the current owner, the vehicle runs and drives well and recently underwent a fluids service.
Pictures of the vehicle's underbody, including its locking rear differential, can be viewed in the photo gallery.
The video below shows an exterior walkaround and the vehicle idling and being driven.

@59Cadillac – Hello, do you know how long the speedometer/odometer has not been working? Is there any documentation that would allow for better estimation of the true mileage? Also, besides the carburetor and intake manifold, are there any other modifications to the engine? And finally, is that a manual choke cable next to the ash tray? Thanks! ...
Hi, I am unaware of the exact true mileage.. It appears the engine has been overhauled at one time. No docs included with sale, Carb and intake are aftermarket and that appears to be it.. Yes that's the choke lever I would replace the carburetor with a new electric choke Edelbrock to eliminate that all together.
