This 1982 Jeep CJ-7 was restored by its previous owner and includes a new X-line hardtop, exterior paint, LED headlights and LED running lights, gas tank, and a completely new interior. The drivetrain consists of a fuel-injected 4.2-liter inline-six mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Features include Rhino flooring throughout with brushed stainless steel interior door panels and dashboard, original gauges in working condition, and an aftermarket Pioneer stereo. Located in Temecula California, CJ7 is now offered for sale with a clean CARFAX on a clear California title in the seller’s name.
According to the seller, the previous owner repainted this CJ-7 and the front bumper is set up and wired for a Blue OX tow system. The new black X-line hardtop was added by the current owner and comes with full doors as well as an additional bikini top and doors, stainless steel exteriors hinges, chrome grille and exterior parts, a full-size spare tire mounted at the rear via a swing-away carrier, and new LED headlights and running lights.
Aftermarket 15-inch chrome wheels are mounted to 31x10 BF Goodrich All Terrain tires on all four corners.
The interior is trimmed in Gray cloth upholstery with brushed stainless steel interior door panels, new headliner, resealed windows, and Rhino flooring and texture. The seats are original with new covers and according to the seller, the driver's side door lock needs an adjustment. Amenities include a three-spoke steering wheel, a center console that provides an armrest and cup holders, an aftermarket Pioneer stereo that's in excellent working condition, and a passenger-side grab handle. The seller notes that the wiper motor is currently not operational.
Instrumentation is housed within a chrome bezel and includes an 85-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, voltage, and oil pressure. The mechanical odometer reads 85,250 miles, although the true mileage is unknown.
The fuel-injected 4.2L inline-6 engine resides in a restored engine bay with rhino texture. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission with a floor-mounted shift lever. According to the seller, the transmission shifts smoothly and there are no leaks.

@trkguy – The write up indicates that the Jeep has a fuel injected engine. As that was not stock in 1982, do you know what conversion kit was used? Normally they would swap a 4.0 head on the 258 and add the injection kit from MOPAR. Can you confirm as this would add a great deal of value to the Jeep. Thank youi. ...
Hello, I am relaying on the write-up what was told to me by the previous owner so not sure what conversion kit was used. I will attempt to contact the previous owner to get some an answer and hope to have a response by the end of the day , Monday 1/10 PST

Hello, yes it does have A/C but as with many Jeeps from this year and with original parts does not work very well as compared to newer cars and technology. Hope that answers your question.
