This 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville convertible shows 41,000 miles and has been with its current owner for the past 12 years. Equipment includes a tempered glass rear window, newer BFGoodrich tires, a newer battery, rear fender skirts, front and rear bench seating, an electric clock, and American walnut woodgrain vinyl interior trim. The original 455ci V8 with a four-barrel carburetor sends its power to the road through a 3-speed automatic and the rear 15-inch Rally II wheels. Finished in Valencia Red with a white fabric power-operated convertible top over a white Morrokide interior, this garage-kept B-body droptop is available now and comes with a clear title.
For the 1971 model year, Pontiac released the Grand Ville as its newest flagship model; it ceased production at the end of the 1975 model year. This particular 1973 model is dressed in Florentine Red with a power-operated white fabric top and features brightwork accents on the grille, quad headlight buckets, front and rear bumpers with black trim and overriders, greenhouse glass trim, side moldings, wheel arches, rocker panels, and horizontal taillight frames.
The car rides on factory 15-inch Rally II wheels set inside of newer 235/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
Interior furnishings include white Morrokide seating consisting of a front bench with outboard headrests and a rear bench, and American walnut woodgrain vinyl trim on the instrument panel. Photos of the trunk show the presence of a full-size Goodyear spare tire and a jack.
Behind the three-spoke steering wheel and column-mounted automatic shifter, instrumentation consists of an analog clock, a fuel gauge, a gear selection indicator, and a 120-mph speedometer. The odometer shows a bit over 41,000 miles, which the seller asserts are true and original.
Power is supplied by the original 455ci V8, which is connected to its original four-barrel carburetor, a newer battery, and the original 3-speed automatic that sends the engine's output to the rear wheels. The seller notes that their mechanic inspected the car after it was purchased in 2009 and addressed any issues it had. Since then, the car has been driven infrequently, but it has received oil changes on a regular basis.
Undercarriage photos are available in the gallery.
A matching boot for the convertible top will come with the car.
