This 1975 Ford Granada Ghia two-door is a one-owner performance coupe with roughly $40,000 invested into a full cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment, powered by a 408ci stroker V8 paired with a rebuilt C4 3-speed automatic transmission and a positraction rear end. This Granada was purchased by the seller new and later in life went on to receive a full repaint in the factory color, a replacement leather interior, a new vinyl roof, and a modern audio system. Finished in Ruby Red with a black vinyl top over, this first-year Granada is now offered with service records, a 2017 show award received, spare parts, and a clear Washington title in the seller’s name.
The Granada model launched in 1975 as a downsized successor to the Ford Maverick and was marketed as a luxury compact vehicle. Chassis architecture featured a unibody design, and body styles were offered in two-door and four-door configurations. This Granada two-door from that initial model year has a rust-free body and received replacement rear quarter panels as part of prior body work. A fresh repaint was applied in the factory Ruby Red and the black vinyl top was replaced at the time. The seller states that the vehicle has been garage-kept most of its life, and brightwork shows in good condition throughout. Exterior details include a vented hood, 408 stroker emblems, and a polished-outlet dual exhaust system. The seller has provided images in the carousel of the car and its drivetrain during various stages of the build.
Aluminum 15” split five-spoke wheels are wrapped in staggered Grand Prix Performance GT raised-white-letter tires, with 235/60 sizing up front and 295/50 in the rear. Stopping power comes from upgraded four-wheel disc brakes and Wilwood calipers, and the suspension consists of a coil spring front end and a leaf-sprung rear axle.
The interior was modernized with replacement power-adjustable Chrysler 300 black leather bucket seats, split by a center console. Outfitted in Ghia trim, this Granada came with a wood-trimmed dashboard. Additional amenities include a Forever Sharp steering wheel on a chrome-finished tilt-adjustable column, a B&M shift lever, and a newer DVD-based audio system with navigation, a camera-equipped rearview mirror, and a USB port. The trunk is Rhino lined and fully carpeted.
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The seller notes that the tachometer is not operational. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 37k miles, reflective of an actual reading of 137k miles per the seller.
The replacement 408ci stroker V8 was installed in 2018 and originated as a 351ci Windsor that was bored and stroked to 408ci by a specialty shop. Equipment includes dual-quad carburetors and a high-performance camshaft, with maintenance consisting of oil change that was performed in 2020. Voltage comes from two Optima batteries, with one in the engine compartment and the second in the trunk, the latter being dedicated to separate audio functionality during car shows. A console-mounted toggle switch provides control over which battery is being used. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted rebuilt C4 3-speed automatic transmission and a custom positraction Ford 9” rear end.

The sale includes service records, a first-place award from a 2017 car show, and spare parts. The seller has provided two videos illustrating the vehicle in greater detail.
