This 2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited two-door, two-seat roadster has driven 66,929 miles since new and is powered by an M112 3.2-liter V6 paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. This Crossfire was originally titled in Pennsylvania and later in life spent time in Florida, Oklahoma, and Illinois where it has resided since October 2021. A maintenance inspection, oil and filter change, and valve cover gasket replacement were carried out in December 2021. Finished in silver over a black leather interior, this Crossfire is now offered with a CARFAX report with a clear Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The Crossfire model was initially launched in 2004, produced in Germany on the Mercedes-Benz R170 platform and available in both two-door convertible and fastback configurations. This Crossfire convertible from the subsequent year is painted silver with a contrasting black cloth power-retractable top. Equipped in Limited trim, the exterior features fog lights, heated sideview mirrors, a power-retractable rear spoiler, and centrally-located twin exhaust outlets at the rear.
Silver-finished aluminum seven-spoke wheels are staggered in size with 19” in the rear and 18” up front, and handling is aided by electronic stability control. The Crossfire uses a recirculating ball system for power steering, and the suspension features unequal length double-wishbone suspension with a five-point multi-link in the rear.
The interior is fitted with two-tone heated black and gray leather bucket seats, split by a full-length center console and color-matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include an aftermarket Pioneer AM/FM/CD Bluetooth stereo, power windows, cruise control, a glass rear window, a tire pressure monitoring system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and air conditioning.
Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 66,929 miles, which is a true reading supported by the CARFAX report.
The 3.2-liter M112 V6 was rated at 215 horsepower and 229 lb-ft of torque when new. Recent service according to the CARFAX report includes an oil and filter change as well as replacement of the valve cover gasket in December 2021. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a gated console-shifted 5-speed automatic transmission.
The CARFAX report shows no accidents or damage on record.
