OVERVIEW
This restomod 1967 Chevrolet Camaro sport coupe was previously sold on AutoHunter in 2021 and subsequently received $30,000 in work under its new owner including the addition of Vintage Air A/C, power steering, QA1 suspension components, and numerous performance upgrades. It is powered by a 383cid stroker V8 backed by a Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and comes equipped with front disc brakes, a Bluetooth audio system, and staggered wheels. Finished in Sunset Orange with black accent striping over a black vinyl interior, this first-year Camaro is now offered with service records and a clear title in the seller’s name.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The current owner of this Camaro purchased it on AutoHunter in 2021 and made improvements including the addition of LED exterior lighting. The Sunset Orange exterior is accompanied by black accent striping and features a chin spoiler, a two-inch cowl-intake hood, chrome brightwork, a rear spoiler, and a dual exhaust setup.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Staggered five-spoke 17-inch front and 18-inch rear aluminum wheels are wrapped in Goodyear 225/45 tires up front and Toyo 255/40 tires in the rear.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The deluxe-trim cockpit is fitted with black vinyl bucket seats with white accent piping up front, a bench in the rear, and matching materials for the dash, door panels, console, and carpeting. The dash and steering wheel are dressed in woodgrain veneer, and amenities include new power steering, new Vintage Air A/C, tinted windows, a Hurst shifter, and a vinyl trunk mat. The cabin has sound-deadening insulation and a newer sound system with Pioneer speakers in the front, Rockford Fosgate speakers in the rear, and a 10-inch subwoofer.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and auxiliary readouts in the center stack including a clock and displays for the coolant temperature and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 53,755 miles, although the true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 350cid V8 block was stroked to 383cid V8 under prior ownership was upgraded at that time with a mild cam, Edelbrock Performer aluminum heads, an RPM airgap intake, solid lifters, a copper radiator, an HEI distributor, and an electric fuel pump. More recent mechanical work under the current seller’s two-year stewardship included replacement of the carburetor with a Holley Brawler unit, new headers, fuel pump, lines, and regulator, installation of a Powermaster chrome-finished alternator, a starter rebuild, fuel pump relocation with heat wrap, and the installation of a new valve cover, head gasket, Griffin radiator, and chrome-finished pulleys, along with fresh hoses, timing cover, and water pump. Power is transferred to the back wheels via a console-shifted Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction 12-bolt rear end.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Stopping power comes from power-assisted disc brakes up front and drums in the rear, all of which utilize a newer master cylinder. A QA1 suspension is installed on the front including control arms, a sway bar, tie rods, bearings, and ball joints. The connection points were cut, ground, and re-welded, and the rear suspension benefits from two-inch drop spindles and a sway bar. The frame was ground down and straightened, and the hanging brackets and bolts have been replaced. The seller notes that the rear axle has brackets for traction bars but none are currently fitted.

@Csquared – It is at the very beginning of the outside video, right as the car is fired up, which sounds very good BTW. ...
My goal was to ensure every piece of this car was safe first for my family. Once everything was safe, quality and the workmanship to be back, best as possible. I took it to an expert In town and he recommended parts and I would stick the best available. So you won’t find rust or any safety concerns at all. Look at the receipts for proof of the company who worked on it. Good luck this car is absolutely incredible, drives better than when they were build. Happy bidding everyone.
