This 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, #288 of 935 Collector Editions produced, has received over $60,000 in customizations and modifications and shows 15K miles. Powered by a Whipple-supercharged 6.2-liter V8 with 150 miles that sends its output through an 8-speed automatic transmission, the car features $25,000 in aftermarket carbon fiber components, a Focal audio system, Dynamat sound damping material, ARH headers, and an Akrapovic exhaust system. This Watkins Glen Gray Metallic C7 Corvette with Tension Blue exterior and interior accents is offered by the original owner with its uninstalled original hood, rear hatch, and targa top; a build sheet; an owner's manual; a clean Carfax report; and a clear Texas title.
The body is finished in Watkins Glen Gray Metallic with Tension Blue hash-mark accents on the front fenders. According to the seller, this C7 Corvette features $25,000 in aftermarket carbon fiber components, including the vented hood, halo, targa top, and rear hatch. A clear window in the hood displays the polished Whipple supercharger housing. Cameras in the grille provide curb-view footage for use while parking. The rear end features a wicker bill spoiler, a rear diffuser, and carbon fiber finishers connected to an Akrapovic exhaust system.
A set of black 20-inch wheels are wrapped in new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Slotted disc brakes wear Corvette-branded Tension Blue calipers at all four corners.
The cockpit was retrofitted with Dynamat sound damping material and a Focal audio system, which cost a reported $9,000. It comes furnished with black carpeting, Tension Blue A-pillar wrap, Tension Blue leather seats with black microfiber inserts, and color-coordinated door panels, center console, and dashboard. Carbon fibers accents are located on the steering wheel, dashboard, and center console. Equipment includes dual-zone automatic climate control, a color head-up display, a power tilt and telescopic steering column, cruise control, a three-channel Universal Home Remote, eight-way power-adjustable heated and vented seats, a Chevrolet MyLink Radio with navigation and an eight-inch touchscreen, and an integrated Escort Passport radar detector.
A customizable digital display housed behind the steering wheel contains drive mode and gear selection indicators, the speedometer, a 7,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the oil pressure and oil temperature. The odometer shows approximately 15K miles. Analog instrumentation consists of a 200-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level and coolant temperature.
The 6.2-liter V8 is reported to produce just over 600 horsepower with the addition of a reportedly $10,000 polished 2.9-liter Whipple supercharger with 150 miles on it and LT4 fuel system. Other enhancements include a carbon fiber intake, carbon fiber valve covers, and ARH headers. Power is transferred to the rear wheels by way of an 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
The uninstalled original hood, halo, rear hatch, and targa top; a build sheet; and an owner's manual are included with the sale of the car.
