This 1990 Chevrolet K5 Blazer was sold new in Colorado and acquired by the seller in February of 2002. Finished in two-tone light blue with a dark blue, the truck retains its factory original paint as well as the dark blue cloth interior. It's powered by a warranty replacement 5.7L V8 with a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. Options include power windows and locks, heavy-duty cooling system, halogen headlights, and power brakes. Located in Parker, Colorado, this 1990 K5 Blazer is offered for sale with a clean CARFAX and clean Colorado title in the seller's name.
The body is finished in two-tone Light French Blue with Dark Sapphire Metallic and a Black Sapphire top. The paint is original to the truck, with the clearcoat showing signs of peeling along the cowl vent and top of the cab. The truck features polished trim pieces on the front grille and down the sides, as well as a brushed finished trim panel on the tailgate, all of which is included in the Silverado trim package.
The original 15x7 alloy wheels have been replaced with aftermarket 5-spoke wheels wrapped in 31x10.5 Michelin MTX tires, but the factory alloys are included in the sale. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs in the front and drums in the rear.
The interior features bucket seats upholstered in dark blue with matching door panels, dash, and carpeting. Equipped with the deluxe interior trim group, a console is mounted between the front seats, the door panels feature brushed stainless inserts with polished metal accents, and the steering wheel is wrapped in simulated leather with a tilt column. Additional factory options include power windows, including the rear tailgate, power locks, and mirrors, cruise control, an AM/FM radio, which has been upgraded with a modern unit however the original is included
The gauge cluster features an 80mph speedometer and fuel gauge, smaller gauges providing analog readouts for voltage, water temperature, and oil pressure are located to the left. Controls for the air conditioning and heater are located to the right of the gauges. The odometer currently reads 120k, the seller has added approximately 60k miles in 19 years of ownership.
The original 5.7L TPI V8 engine was replaced under warranty with a new long block installed by a Chevrolet dealer shortly after the seller acquired the truck in 2002. Power is sent to the NP241 transfer case through a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. Additional factory equipment includes a 10-bolt rear axle with a 3.73:1 ratio, and a heavy duty cooling system with transmission cooler.
Minor surface rust can be seen underneath near the doors, though the seller notes there is no corrosion on the truck and all metal is solid. Additional photos can be seen in the gallery
Included in the sale of the truck are the factory alloy wheels and factory radio, as well as the records for the engine replacement. This 1990 K5 Blazer is offered for sale with a clean CARFAX and clean Colorado title in the seller's name.
