This 2008 Porsche Cayman S two-door fastback coupe is presented as unit number 080 of a 700-unit limited production run that has accrued only 51,448 miles since new and is powered by a 3.4-liter flat-6 paired with a 6-speed manual transaxle. This Cayman was first issued to its original owner in Illinois and subsequently based in Connecticut where it was dealer-serviced, then later made its way to Ohio in 2017 where it has remained since in garage-kept safekeeping. Outfitted with a model-specific exhaust system, 19” aluminum wheels, and four-wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors, this 987 received recent maintenance in October 2021. Finished in Black over a black leather interior, this second-generation Cayman is now offered with owner’s manuals, two keys, a CARFAX report, and a clear Ohio title in the seller’s name.
The second generation of the Boxster debuted in 2004, with styling later applied to the Cayman a year later, incorporating revised headlights, larger side intakes, and larger wheel arches. Offered in late 2008, the limited-edition 700-unit Cayman S Sport added unique software maps along with updates to the exhaust system, resulting in a higher-output performance than traditional Caymans. This example from 2008 reflects unit 080 of the production run and is painted Black (A1), having been garage-kept throughout its life. Features include fog lamps, bi-xenon headlamps, a spoiler, and a polished dual exhaust system exiting at the center rear. The seller notes that the vehicle was involved in an incident involving the front bumper in 2019 that was professionally repaired, and documentation is shown in the photo carousel. The exterior finishes are clean and straight although there is minor pitting on the hood.
Black-finished 19” aluminum wheels with Porsche center crests are wrapped in tires that were replaced within the last 5,000 miles. The braking system uses four-wheel discs, cross-drilled rotors, and red-finished calipers. Handling is assisted by a Porsche Stability Management (PSM) traction-control system.
The interior is fitted with heated leather bucket seats, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting while contrasted with optional Guards Red seat belts. Select areas of the cabin are finished in gloss black, and additional amenities include automatic climate control, Bose AM/FM/CD audio, an Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel, a cargo net, and all-weather floor mats. The door sills wear stainless-steel plates with the Cayman S Sport logo.
Instrumentation includes a prominent 8k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level, and digital displays with a trip meter and exterior thermometer. The digital odometer reads 51,448 miles, which is a true reading supported by the CARFAX report.
The rear-mounted 3.4-liter flat-6 has been dealer-serviced and was factory rated at 303 horsepower. The most recent service on the CARFAX is an oil and filter change dated October 2021, and power is transferred to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transaxle.
The CARFAX report shows ownership in Illinois, Connecticut, and Ohio with the aforementioned damage in Ohio dated November 2019 which was subsequently repaired. The sale includes owner’s manuals and two keys. According to the Porsche VIN Wiki, this model had an original MSRP of $74,925.

@cb598214 – I do not have a rev or score report on the engine. I can take whatever pictures you would like, however there are no current leaks. I have had the car sitting in my garage for 2 months with zero drips/leaks on floor. I am selling the car for my friend's wife, who passed away last year Thanks. ...
