This restored 1961 Chevrolet Bel Air coupe has a Tri-Power 348ci V8 engine paired with electronic ignition, a column-shifted TH350 automatic transmission, and a dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers. The exterior has been repainted in its original Ermine White, which is complemented by red body striping and brightwork. It has two-tone red and white front and rear bench seats with seatbelts, matching door panels, and red carpeting. The car has been lowered and rides on white wheels wrapped in Michelin tires. Features include air conditioning, power brakes, and power steering. Available now from a dealership, this Bel Air comes with a clear title.
Chevrolet produced the Bel Air from 1950 to 1981; this fifth-generation example was made in General Motors’ Norwood, Ohio factory. It has been restored and repainted in its original Ermine White and features red body striping, chrome bumpers and brightwork trim, quad headlights and taillights, and Bel Air badging.
It has been lowered and rides on white-painted wheels with polished hubcaps and Michelin tires.
The cabin is furnished with two-tone red and white bench seats with front and rear seatbelts, matching door panels, and red carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. The red dashboard has an aftermarket blue switch to operate the electric fan. The seller notes that the radio does not power up.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and gauges for the coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 17K miles, but the true mileage of the vehicle is unknown.
