1936 Ford Phaeton

This 1936 Ford Phaeton is powered by a flathead V8 engine rebuilt by Rod Furtado paired with a 3-speed manual transmission and a Columbia 2-speed rear end. Features include a newer convertible top, chrome mirror caps, windshield-mounted wind wings, full chrome wheels, running boards, and a covered rear-mounted spare tire. The body is finished in maroon with a thin tan accent stripe at the beltline and has chrome, trim, handles, and emblems. Chrome driver- and passenger-side mirrors are present. A chrome bumper with bumper guards, horn grilles, a radiator grille, and headlights can be found in the front. A single wiper clears the chrome-framed windshield with wind wings. A chrome bumper with overriders, dual taillights, and a spare tire with a body-color cover can be seen at the rear. The cloth tan convertible top is equipped with a glass back window.

According to the seller, the 221ci flathead V8 was rebuilt, blueprinted, and balanced by Rod Furtado and comes mated to a 3-speed manual transmission and a Columbia 2-speed rear end. Spark plug wire routing tubes, a generator, a single-barrel carburetor, an oil-bath air cleaner, and cast-iron exhaust manifolds complete the engine. The seller reports that no service is due and that a safety inspection was completed a month ago.
