This 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 is a Japanese-market four-door 4x4 pickup with 8,196 actual miles that was imported to the United States. Powered by a fuel-injected 3F 4.0-liter inline-6 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and demonstrating a fresh paint finish, aftermarket aluminum wheels, and a removable canvas top for the cargo area. This FJ has received recent maintenance to the running gear and sends power to all four wheels via a two-speed transfer case and manual transmission. Finished in red with neutral-tone side striping over a dark brown vinyl interior, this Land Cruiser is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear Tennessee title.
Beginning in 1980, the 60-Series Land Cruiser was initially introduced as a capable five-door sport-utility vehicle with added creature comforts. Some world markets received the FJ in alternate body styles, including pickup trucks. This 1989 Land Cruiser FJ62 has four-door body architecture with a cargo bed at the rear, having been originally allocated to the Japanese market and later imported to the United States. The exterior was repainted red with neutral-tone side decals and features fender-mounted sideview mirrors, a removable canvas top, side strap rails, removable upper bed tubing, and rear side lower cargo boxes with locks.
Aftermarket alloy 15” wheels are wrapped in 31” all-terrain tires.
The right-hand-drive interior offers dark brown vinyl upholstery for the front seats and rear bench, color-matched to replacement carpeting. Amenities include cruise control, WeatherTech floor mats, an Alpine AM/FM/Bluetooth radio, Alpine speakers, and rear seat lower storage.
Instrumentation is delivered by a 180-km/h speedometer, a 5k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 13,190 kilometers (8,196 miles) which the seller asserts is a true reading.
The fuel-injected 3F 4.0-liter inline-6 received recent service including an oil and filter change, a new air filter, and replacement spark plugs. Power is sent to all four wheels via an H55F 5-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case.
