This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro was originally produced in GM's Norwood, Ohio factory with an inline-6 engine, but now has a 350ci V8 crate motor with aluminum heads and powder-coated headers that sends its power to the road through a 4-speed manual transmission. On the outside, it comes equipped with chrome bumpers, a cowl induction hood, Rally wheels, BFGoodrich tires, and a rear spoiler. The interior features Auto Meter gauges, a tilt steering column with an aftermarket steering wheel, a Sony radio and CD player, and a Hurst shifter. Finished in Butternut Yellow with painted-on black stripes over a black vinyl interior, this first-year Camaro is available now and comes with a clear Texas title in the seller's name.
The Butternut Yellow bodywork is accented with painted black stripes on the nose, cowl induction hood, trunk lid, and rear spoiler as well as brightwork on the bumpers, rocker panels, and other areas. Features include a black front spoiler, dual round headlights, a pair of side mirrors, and SS 350 badges.
Slotted Rally wheels with derby-style center caps are set inside of BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires with white sidewall lettering.
The overhauled interior comes furnished with black carpeting and matching vinyl front bucket and rear bench seats, door panels, and dashboard as well as metallic trim. Features include a tilt steering column connected to an aftermarket steering wheel, a center console with a Hurst shifter and Hurst cueball-style shift knob, and a Sony radio/CD player with remote control. The seller reports this car does not have air conditioning. The trunk is carpeted and features a two-tone liner along with a Goodyear space-saver spare tire on a black steel wheel.
Instrumentation consists of an Auto Meter gauge cluster that includes a 160-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and readouts for the fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. According to the seller, the engine typically runs at 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The odometer shows 4K miles, but true mileage on the car is unknown.
Power comes from a 350ci V8 crate engine equipped with aluminum heads and powder-coated headers. The seller reports output to be 375 horsepower. A 4-speed manual gearbox with a new clutch installed under previous ownership and a 12-bolt rear end helps route the engine's power to the street.
