This military four-wheel-drive 1954 Dodge M37 Power Wagon, which underwent a frame-off restoration completed by Racoon Creek in 2009, is powered by a new Memphis Equipment T245 6-cylinder gas crate engine backed by a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission. Features include a removable metal hardtop, a rear canvas cargo cover, a brush guard, a factory winch with tow hooks, new dual batteries and cables, a new transfer case, heater, new Michelin tires, and more. This green 1954 Dodge Power Wagon with an olive drab interior is available now and comes with receipts and a clear Kentucky title.
The body is finished in green and features a split front bumper with tow hooks mounted just ahead of the winch. A removable hardtop with matching green paint and a rear canvas cargo cover has been installed. The bed is fitted with side-mounted wooden bench seating with padded fabric seatbacks. The tailgate is equipped to carry field tools, including a shovel.
The wheels have been refinished in green and are fitted with new Michelin tires.
The interior is furnished with green canvas seat covers. The floor and the interior of the cab matches the exterior green color.
The steel dashboard is refinished in body-color green. A 4-speed manual transmission lever is mounted to the floor. The green steering column is connected to a 3-spoke steering wheel with a silver horn button. The vehicle information plates showing weight and dimensional data can be found on the glovebox door.
The original engine has been replaced with a new Memphis Equipment T245 6-cylinder gas engine backed by a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission. New parts include dual batteries and cables as well as the starter. The firewall and inner fenders are covered in green, matching the exterior. A black oil filter, air cleaner, generator, and carburetor complete the engine. According to the seller, this Power Wagon has been driven fewer than 200 miles since it was restored and it has been garage-kept.
Additional photos showing the condition of the underside are in the picture gallery to the right.
A file of receipts from the restoration are included with the sale of the vehicle.
