This 1992 Mitsubishi Minicab 4WD is a right-hand-drive kei-class pickup that shows only 35,892 kilometers (22,302 miles) since new. This compact vehicle originated in the Japanese market and draws power from a 657cc straight-3 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case, reportedly offering a 770-pound payload capacity. Finished in white over a gray cloth interior, this fourth-generation Minicab is now offered with a clear Florida title.
The Minicab kei pickup and microvan models went into production in the late 1960s. By 1984, the platform evolved into its fourth generation with larger windows and added features. This 1992 Minicab two-door compact 4WD was allocated initially to the Japanese market and wears a white exterior finish. It was subsequently imported to the United States and features a black front bumper, matching headlight bezels, a dropside cargo bed that can be raised on hydraulics to dump its contents, rear fenders, a tubular rack behind the cab, and rear mudflaps. Age-related wear and tear as well as corrosion and blemishes are visible.
Silver steel 12-inch wheels are mounted to black-sidewall tires. Power brakes bring the vehicle to a stop.
The right-hand-drive cab features dual bucket seats in gray patterned cloth upholstery, tied in to the door panels and complemented by a black dash and rubberized flooring material. Features include air conditioning and a radio.
Instrumentation consists of a 120-kph speedometer and gauges for the coolant temperature and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 35,892 kilometers (22,302 miles), which the seller states is an accurate reading, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 3G83 657cc 3-cylinder engine is connected to a 4-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
