This 1987 Porsche 928S4 has covered just over 33,700 miles from new and remains all-original and unrestored. Finished in Guards Red with tan interior, power is provided by a 4.9L V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission. Located in Colombia, South Carolina, the 928S4 is offered for sale by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report as well as original books and keys.
Finished in Guards Red, the 928 retains all of its original factory paint. The seller notes there are several minor rock chips on the hood that have been touched up but the car has not had any other paint or bodywork. Pop up headlights are integrated into the front fender and a factory chin spoiler is mounted underneath the front bumper. A black fixed spoiler is featured on the rear hatch along with a rear window wiper.
The car retains its original polished disc wheels measuring 7"x16" in the front and 8"x16" in the rear. The wheels are wrapped in Toyo Proxes T1R tires with 225/50-16 in the front and 245/45-16 in the rear. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes with four-piston calipers all around.
The all-original interior features dual power-adjustable tan leather bucket seats with black piping with matching tan interior panels and console lid. The tan carpeting features new black contrasting floormats with red embroidered "928S4" script, which matches the scripts on the black door sills. The center console houses the shift lever for the automatic transmission as well as switches for the power windows, while controls for the dual power-adjustable mirrors are located on the driver's door panel.
Instrumentation includes a 180mph speedometer and an 8k tachometer. Additional analog gauges provide readouts for water temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The original Blaupunkt stereo is retained in the dash, just below the climate controls. Currently, the odometer reads 33,671 miles, 180 of which have been added by the selling dealer in the past 2 years.
The 4.9L V8 was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque when new. The car was serviced in February of 2019 which included an oil change, new spark plugs and a new AGM battery as well as new Freon in the A/C system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4-speed automatic transaxle style transmission.
Additional underside photos are available in the gallery.
Included with the sale are the original owner's manual, warranty & maintenance book, tools as well as two keys. Located in Columbia, South Carolina this 928S4 is offered for sale by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX and clear Montana title.

This car looks in person just like it looks in the pictures. It has the original paint and it is still beautiful which is amazing for a car that is over 30 years old. All we did for the paint is to buff it and wax it and touch up a few rock chips on the nose. The interior and drive train are also original . It is obvious that this car was pampered it's whole life. I think the driver must have been very thin or always very careful since the driver seat bolster in almost like new.
