This 2002 Bentley Azure Mulliner two-door grand touring convertible is one 78 models produced for the year and has driven 13,850 miles since new. Under the hood, a Garrett turbocharged 6.75-liter L-Series V8 generates power that is transferred rearward through a 4-speed automatic transmission. This Azure displays garage-kept finishes outside and well-preserved materials inside, with luxury appointments including gloss woodgrain trim, dual-zone automatic climate control, and embroidered upholstery. Finished in Royal Blue Metallic with a matching cloth top over a creme leather interior, this Mulliner is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report, books, keys, a tool kit, and a clear California title.
The Azure grand touring convertible debuted in 1995 on the Continental R platform. According to Pininfarina production records, there were 78 units produced for the 2002 model year including this example in Mulliner trim which was afforded additional equipment and customization options. This Azure is painted Royal Blue Metallic with a matching power-operated retractable top, and the body features quad headlights, a mesh chrome grille, side markers, and a polished exhaust outlet.
Chrome-finished 18” wheels with Bentley center caps are mounted to Pirelli P-Zero tires. Handling is assisted by traction control, and stopping comes from four-wheel power anti-lock discs.
The interior is trimmed with light creme leather upholstery bearing embroidered headrests along with contrasting dark blue carpeting and a dark blue dash top. The cabin is accented in gloss woodgrain trim across the face of dash, the steering wheel rim, the door panels, and the gear shift lever. Additional amenities include aluminum pedals, power windows, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and an AM/FM/CD stereo.
Instrumentation includes a 170-mph speedometer and a 5k-rpm tachometer along with auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer reads 13,850 miles which is a true reading supported by the CARFAX report.
The L410 6.75-liter L-Series V8 has an intercooled Garrett turbocharger and was rated at 420 horsepower. According to the CARFAX report, the vehicle was serviced in August 2020 including an oil and filter change. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted GM 4L80-E 4-speed automatic transmission.
The CARFAX report shows a history free of accidents or damage. The sale includes books, keys, and a tool kit.
