This 1970 Brunton Stalker is a Lotus Seven-inspired street-legal kit car assembled by Brunton Auto that was completed in 2006 and is powered by a supercharged 3.8-liter Pontiac V6 mated to a Tremec T-5 5-speed manual transmission. It features a full roll cage, harness restraints, electronic power steering, a Wilwood braking system, side exhausts, a coilover suspension, and a racing fuel cell. Finished in black with silver striping and fenders over a black vinyl interior, this two-owner Stalker is now offered with two sets of tires, two exhaust setups, an uninstalled set of track coilovers, and a clear California title in the seller’s name that identifies this car as a 1970 Lotus.
Brunton Auto was established in 2001 as a manufacturer of Lotus Seven-inspired kit cars. This customized Stalker roadster was assembled in 2006 and features a black body with silver striping and silver fenders. The body is protected with paint protection film and features a front mesh grille, LED headlights, side-exit exhausts, and a rear diffuser.
Machined aluminum 15-inch five-spoke wheels with gray pockets from a late-model Chevrolet S-10 pickup are wrapped in staggered-width tires.
The open-top interior is fitted with a pair of black racing seats and 6-point harnesses. Interior features include black flooring, a removable steering wheel, and a fire extinguisher.
Instrumentation includes an analog tachometer and a race pak IQ3 Logger tachometer. There is no odometer, which means true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The supercharged 3.8-liter Pontiac V6 is set up with a fuel cell and an oil cooler. Power is sent to the 2000 Chevrolet S-10 3.43 rear differential via a Wilwood clutch system and a floor-shifted Tremec T-5 5-speed manual transmission.
This Stalker uses a coilover suspension and modern chassis engineering and benefits from electronic power steering and a Wilwood braking system. Aluminum underbody panels have been fitted.
The sale includes street and track wheels and tires, one additional uninstalled racing coilover, and two different exhaust setups.
