Vehicle Story

This 2000 Aston Martin DB7 V12 Vantage shows just over 35k miles and is powered by a 5.9L V12 paired to a 5-speed automatic transmission. Sold new in Beverly Hills, CA, the car has resided in California the entire time over three owners. Acquired by the seller in 2017, it's finished in its factory original Antrim Blue Mica over a two-tone parchment and saddle interior. A service conducted in October 2019 included an oil change and new filters. Now offered for sale with a clean CARFAX, this Aston Martin comes with recent service records and a clean California title.

Finished in Antrim Blue Mica from the factory, the car has not had any previous paint or bodywork. Originally slated a successor to the Jaguar XJS, the DB7 was first introduced at the 1993 Geneva Motor show as a 1994 model with a 3.2L 6-cylinder engine as the only available powerplant. A mid-cycle refresh was unveiled for 1999 with the "Vantage" moniker added and a 5.9L V12 replacing the inline-6. Noted automotive designer Ian Callum was tasked with the refresh and made minor revisions such as an enlarged front grille opening flanked by fog lights, along with revised headlights. The upper grille opening features a silver horizontal insert, while a mesh piece is used for the lower opening.

18" Factory ten-spoke alloy wheels are finished in light silver, wrapped in Hankook Ventus V2 tires measuring 245/40 all around. The factory braking system consists of Brembo components with 335mm cross-drilled and vented rotors in the front and 330mm rotors in the rear

The interior features Parchment leather bucket seats with contrasting saddle side pieces and piping, along with a saddle leather upholstery on the dashboard, door panels, and rear package tray. Brushed finished trim pieces are incorporated into the door panels as well as the console, and center stack, while the original radio has been replaced with an aftermarket Alpine unit.

The 3-spoke steering wheel features two-tone leather upholstery with bolsters on the upper rim. The gauge cluster features a 190mph speedometer, an 8k rpm tachometer, and readouts for water temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. Additional features include an analog clock and push-button ignition. The digital odometer currently shows just over 35k miles, 2k of which have been added by the seller in their two and half years of ownership.

The 48-valve 5.9L V-12 utilizes two overhead camshafts per cylinder bank was rated a 420 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque when new. The engine was developed in conjunction with Ford Research & Vehicle Technology Group and Cosworth and featured a 7000rpm redline with Visteon ECU. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a ZF 5-speed automatic transmission, giving the car an official zero to 60 time in just under five seconds and an estimated top speed of 185 mph. Recent servicing includes changing all fluids and filter replacement in preparation of the saleIRe.

Recent service records are included in the sale along with a clean CARFAX report detailing 3 previous owners. Located in Palm Springs, California, this DB7 is offered for sale on a clean California title in the sellers name.
