An 8L90 8-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters sends the engine's output to the 2.41:1 electronic limited-slip rear differential. According to Chevrolet, a properly equipped Z06 with the automatic can hit 60 mph in 2.95 seconds and finish the quarter-mile in 10.95 seconds at 127 mph.
