Two-Owner 1968 Buick Skylark Convertible

This 1968 Buick Skylark Convertible is powered by a 350ci 2bbl V8 Buick engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Features include power steering, power brakes, power top, windshield washer, column shift, AM radio, and bench seat. This two-owner maroon Skylark convertible with white interior and new white convertible top is available now and comes with a clear title in the seller’s name.

The seller states the body was refinished in the original maroon color 10 years ago. All factory chrome and stainless trim, emblems, and handles are in place. The new power convertible top is white vinyl. A chrome bumper is mounted below an original chrome Buick grill and dual headlight bezels. At the rear the chrome-finished bumper, housing original taillights with integrated reverse lights can be found. A single exit exhaust is visible at the right rear.

A set of chrome Rally wheels are wrapped with new 205/70/R4 Pirelli whitewall radial tires. Chrome center caps with Buick shield logo are mounted to the wheels. Uninstalled original fender skirts will be included with the sale. 

The front bench seat is covered in original patterned white vinyl with matching rear seat. The white vinyl is carried over to the door and quarter panel covers. Chrome exit handles can be seen as well as correct original manual window and vent window cranks with white knobs. Black seat belts are mounted in all seating positions. An original black dashboard is topped with a black dash pad. A 120-mph sweep speedometer showing 88,000 miles, incorporating oil pressure and temperature warning lights, fuel level gauge, clock, and gear position selector are mounted above the headlamp, wiper, washer, and climate controls.  A factory AM Buick Sonomatic radio is mounted in the original location. A non-tilt steering column is topped with a 3-spoke black Buick steering wheel with horn pad.

A 350ci Buick 2bbl V8 is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Orange valve covers, black closed element air cleaner, and power steering pump complete the engine. A dual-circuit power brake master cylinder and windshield washer bottle can be seen under the hood. 

According to the seller, this Buick Skylark has been garaged during the 20 years of ownership. An owner’s manual, original bumper jack, hold-down hardware, and bracket are included with the sale. The seller states a new battery was installed, but an oil change and tire rotation service are due. The u-joints were replaced 7 years ago, the transmission was serviced, an alignment was performed in 2018, and the car was refinished in the original color 10 years ago.
