This 1982 Chrysler LeBaron Convertible Mark Cross Edition has logged approximately 16,500 miles since new and is powered by a2.6-liter Mitsubishi inline 4-cylinder engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. Features include power windows and locks, power steering and brakes, cruise control, air conditioning, and an aftermarket radio/CD player. Available now, it comes with its original Pearl White paint, power-operated white vinyl convertible top, and tan leather and vinyl interior along with an owner's manual, a California Smog Check Vehicle Inspection Report, a clean Carfax report, and a clear California title in the seller’s name.
The rust-free body is finished in its original Pearl White, orange pinstriping, trim, and moldings. The original power-operated white vinyl convertible top features a glass rear window and works as it should, according to the seller. When lowered, it fits under a tan convertible top boot. A walk-around video of the exterior can be seen in the carousel to the right.
A set of Chrysler steel wheels wear full wire hub caps and blackwall radial tires.
This Mark Cross Edition comes with its original tan leather seating areas with dark brown vinyl accents on the front bucket seats, center console armrest, and full-width rear seat. A brown center console with a leather-covered armrest and the switch for the power top separates the front seats. The dark brown dashboard with padded top shows no signs of cracking and features climate controls mounted below the aftermarket radio/CD player. The tilt steering column is topped with a dark brown leather-wrapped 2-spoke steering wheel. The dark brown door panels feature woodgrain accents and the controls for the power locks and windows and remotely adjustable mirrors. Brown carpet covers the entire cabin floor. According to the seller, the power locks work intermittently and the power trunk is not functioning.
An 85-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, turn signal indicators, and warning lights for various vehicle systems are located behind the steering wheel. The 5-digit odometer shows 16,471 miles, which is in line with the last mileage figure shown on the Carfax report.
The engine is a 2.6-liter Mitsubishi dual-overhead-cam inline 4-cylinder backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. When new, the engine was rated to produce 92 horsepower. Under the hood, the emissions, power steering, and power brake hardware can be seen. The oil was changed in October of 2021. According to the seller, the air conditioning needs to be recharged because it operates, but does not blow cold. They have also noted a small power steering leak. A video of the engine starting and running can be seen in the carousel to the right.
An owner's manual, a California Smog Check Vehicle Inspection Report, and a printed clean Carfax report will be included with the sale of the vehicle.
