This 1959 Ford F100 pickup has been converted to a 12-volt electrical system and comes equipped with a variety of reportedly new parts, including the window regulators, timing chain, distributor, Carter RBS carburetor, alternator, clutch, brakes, shocks, and Cooper whitewall tires. It draws power from a 223ci I6 engine with headers and delivers it to the road through a 3-speed manual transmission and the rear wheels. Finished in turquoise with a visible patina over a two-tone turquoise and gray vinyl interior, this third-generation F-Series truck is available now and comes with a clear title from the seller.
The turquoise body is accented with a white grille, bumpers, and roof. The interior of the bed is matte black and features cutouts for the fuel cap and rear suspension hardware. The quad headlight rings, door handles, and driver-side mirror housing are chrome. The seller states the vent windows and rear window are new.
A set of steel wheels wear full Ford-stamped hubcaps and Cooper Trendsetter SE narrow-whitewall radial tires.
The full-width bench seat is upholstered in turquoise and gray glitter vinyl. The interior door shells are refinished in gloss turquoise with white accents. The exit handles and manual window crank handles are chrome. According to the seller, new manual window regulators and a new headliner and wiper motor have been installed. Brown carpet covers the cab floorboards. The climate controls, choke, headlamp switch, new wiper switch, and vent pull knobs are located below the instrument cluster. A locking glove box can be seen at the far right. The shift column is topped with a 3-spoke white steering wheel that features a chrome horn ring and a custom bullet-style horn button. The in-cab gas tank has been removed and replaced with a 1967 Mustang gas tank that is mounted at the rear of the vehicle below the bed.
The steel dashboard is refinished in gloss turquoise with a white accent lower panel. A chrome instrument panel with a visible patina houses a 100-mph speedometer and a 5-place odometer reading 65,733 miles along with oil pressure, fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage gauges. The seller notes the fuel gauge is currently inoperable however a new one will come with the truck. The odometer currently shows 68,733 miles, but the true mileage on the vehicle is unknown.
The 223ci inline 6-cylinder with headers and dual exhaust is paired with a 3-speed manual transmission equipped with a new clutch and rear seal. The seller states that the timing chain, distributor, Carter RBS carburetor, alternator, hoses, and belts are new. A black closed-element air cleaner, orange stamped steel valve cover, new motor and transmission mounts, and an upgraded 12-volt ignition system complete the engine.
This truck features a front I-beam suspension. According to the seller, the truck has been lowered and the u-joints, pinion seal, brakes, shocks, and mufflers are new. A split manifold header and dual exhaust system are present.
