This unrestored, 15K-mile 1982 Chevrolet Corvette is a 1-owner car powered by a fuel-injected 350ci V8 backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission. Features include body-colored T-tops, power windows, power mirrors, power steering, air conditioning, a power driver’s seat, cruise control, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, new tires, and power disc brakes. This garage-kept Silver and Dark Claret C3 Corvette with a light gray cloth interior is available now and comes with its original purchase receipt, a clean Carfax report, and a clear New Mexico title in the seller’s name.
This Corvette has been garaged during ownership and has no imperfections, according to the seller. The front end features pop-up headlights and a color-keyed urethane front bumper with integrated turn signals and a lower chin spoiler. Color-keyed removable T-top panels and power remote mirrors as well as the rear glass hatch with defogger can be seen. The rear urethane bumper has an integrated spoiler and quad taillights with integrated reverse lights.
Aluminum 8-slot 15-inch Corvette wheels are wrapped in reportedly new BFGoodrich raised-white-letter radial tires.
The original bucket seats are upholstered in gray cloth and separated by a gray carpeted center console housing the 4-speed automatic shifter, power window and remote mirror controls along with an emergency brake handle. Each gray vinyl door panel has matching gray carpet on the lower section with a map pocket, a chrome power lock bezel, and an exit handle. The gray dashboard is home to the headlamp switch, air conditioning vents, locking glove box, and AM/FM/cassette stereo. The gray tilt telescopic steering column with cruise control is topped with a 3-spoke gray leather-wrapped steering wheel with a black aftermarket grip. Gray carpeting covers the cabin floor including the rear cargo area with retractable vinyl cargo cover and T-top restraint straps.
Instruments consist of an 85-mph speedometer with a 5-place odometer currently reading 15,056 miles, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and coolant temperature, fuel level, oil temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage gauges.
The engine is a new-for-1982, Crossfire fuel-injected 350ci V8 backed by a 4-speed automatic transmission that was also a new feature in 1982, the first year that only an automatic transmission was available in a Corvette since 1954. All of the correct Crossfire-specific air cleaners and emissions parts are present. Power steering, power braking, air conditioning, and HEI ignition components can be seen as well. The suspension consists of independent front upper and lower control arms with a sway bar and an independent rear-drive axle with a transverse leaf spring. Power disc brakes provide stopping power at all four wheels.
The sale includes the original purchase receipt from when the seller's father purchased the car.
